Hi there,

I was looking for the same thing myself for our Dishlex 300 a few months back. Our problem was 1/ the handle wasn\'t releasing the door catch,

also 2/ the micro switch in the catch wasn\'t getting pressed down properly to tell the machine the door was closed, so the dishwasher wouldn\'t start. Both problems were related to the plastic ramp inside the door being worn where the tongue of the catch goes in.

We couldn\'t find one in NZ, so I made a tapered flat piece of wood to push the catch down between the main body and the door whenever we want to open it.

For the switch problem it was a bit harder - I opened up the plastic box at the top front of the machine (with the power off of course) and built up the plastic ramp that triggers the switch, using glue and then a file to shape it after the glue hardened.

I hope this is helpful.

Cheers.

How to replace the bottom door seal on a Electrolux Dishlex dishwasher DX303WK

How to replace the bottom door seal on an Electrolux Dishlex dishwasher DX303WK.

To Note: Before you begin, make sure you have the correct door seal for your dishwasher model. Before beginning any repairs, switch off the dishwasher and unhook it from the power source.

Materials Needed:
  • New door seal compatible with Electrolux Dishlex DX303WK
  • Screwdriver
  • Pliers
  • Clean cloth
Step 1: Remove the Old Door Seal
  • Open the dishwasher door and locate the existing door seal around the bottom edge of the tub.
  • Gently peel back the old door seal from the edge of the tub. It should be secured with a rubber gasket or clips.
  • Use a screwdriver or pliers, if necessary, to remove any retaining clips or fasteners holding the old seal in place.
Step 2: Clean the Area
  • Once the old door seal is removed, clean the area around the edge of the tub thoroughly. Use a clean cloth to remove any dirt, debris, or residue.
Step 3: Install the New Door Seal
  • Take the new door seal and align it around the edge of the dishwasher tub, making sure it sits properly in place.
  • If your dishwasher has retaining clips or fasteners, use them to secure the new door seal in place. Alternatively, press the seal firmly to ensure it adheres to the tub securely.
Step 4: Test the Door
  • After installing the new door seal, close the dishwasher door gently.
  • Check for any obstructions or misalignment of the seal by running your fingers along the entire perimeter of the door. The seal should be evenly and securely in place.
Step 5: Reconnect and test the power.
Connect the dishwasher to the power source after ensuring that the new door seal is correctly placed.
Run a brief cycle or just check for leaks while the dishwasher is running normally.
If you run into any problems or difficulties throughout the replacement procedure, review the dishwasher's user manual or call Electrolux customer service for assistance. Additionally, if you are unsure about replacing the dishwasher yourself, consider hiring a professional dishwasher repair service.

Dishlex 302 model is displating "i30" error which

Try and remove power for few hours so that the processor resets, check if there is fault in the door switch as the error had come in, check for good pressure at the inlet, and possibility of any fault in the pump. It is best to take a full view of the functioning of the units to ensure that there are no errrors that feed back. Clean and reset.

The dishlex 302SB is not producing hot water for the washing

I have a Dishlex 302 which had this fault. Initially I thought it was the inline heater element and replaced it. It seemed to work but later no hot water again. Someone here put me on to the problem. There is a dry joint in the control board in the top of the door. This controls the relay which powers up the heater. Unplug it from the mains (very important) and undo the screws around the top of the door (don't take the door right off!) you will be able to wiggle off the front panel containing the electronics. The control board is ealiy disconnected an removed from the machine in its protective plastic cover. Have a look around the PCB and you will see the dry joint. Resolder with rosin core (electronic) solder, reassemble and you should have hot water.
