The blower motor for the ac in my 2007 Mitsubishi Endeavor will not turn on. The control panel works as far as a.c. to heat back to a.c. Could this be due to a faulty resistor?

Could be. Older vehicles often had big resistors to control the fan speed. Modern vehicles like yours commonly have flat film resistor networks that are inserted into the air flow for cooling. Have a look for a cable connecting to the heat/AC plenums, behind the glovebox. If such a cable exists, see if there's a 1 or 2 screws that hold a flat film device. If its burned, it will be obvious.

Over the last few days the fridge has not kept cold. The white panel at the inside back of the fridge gets a little bit cool but not cold enough. Is this an easy fix?

Most refrigerator problems of cooling but not cooling enough stem from the condensing coils (if you have external coils) being dirty. A brush and vacuum cleaner can be used to clean the coils. The other problem often occuring in under cooling is sometimes the compartment air flow is blocked because the compartment is overstuffed with packaging and food.

The fridge side is not cooling well. It is cooler than room temp, but not cold. What could cause this problem?

In a side by side, the most likely failure for your type of problem is a failure in the drfrost ciruit (defrost heater, defrost thermostat and defrost timer) that allows an ice build up behind the inner back panel of the freezer. And then you also get an ice build up in the cooling tubes that is susposed to take cold air from the freezer compartment to the refregerator compartment.

The next likely item is the evaporator cooling fan that is located in the freezer compartment. If it is working then there is no cold air transfer. You should be able to feel the air flow in the refrigerator section if it is working.

I have a Samsung 58"

The plasma TV takes a lot of voltage to power the picture. there are some really big ic's that creat the high voltage and they can shut down if they are overheating or becoming a little weak with age. You may be able to feel heat from one side or the other of the back of the unit. If you can put a small fan near the area where you feel the heat and see if extra cooling will allow the unit to turn off and on easier. If it does I would leave the fan on whenever possible and add extra cooling to prolong the life of the components.

Kenmore 106.536323000 S/S: Not Cooling Enough

YOU HAVE A DEFROST PROBLEM. FROST HAS BUILT UP SOMEWHERE AND THE FAN CAN'T BLOW PAST THE BLOCKAGE. OR ONLY A SMALL SECTION OF YOUR COILS IN THE FREEZER ARE COOLING DUE TO A CLOGGED FILTER OR BAD COMPRESSOR. PULL THE BACK COVER FROM INSIDE THE FREEZER AND LOOK AT THE COILS. THEY SHOULD HAVE A LIGHT FROST AVER THE ENTIRE COIL.IF IT IS A BIG BLOCK OF ICE YOU HAVE A DEFROST PROBLEM.

My uline refrigerator won't get cold at all. Was

If the refrigeration motor is running and it is not getting cold then it probably is low on freon the gas that is used for refrigeration. Also if the motor only runs for a few minutes then stops it is possible that the cold control is bad, This is a common problem in refrigerators and can be fixed by replacing the control. First you must determine that the motor is in fact running. If the motor is running the motor should feel warm to the touch after 10 to 20 minutes of operation, and you should feel some cooling in the refrigerator on the cooling or evaporator coil. If the motor is running and getting warm or hot and you feel no or very little cooling then it is in fact ether low on freon or a component in the refrigeration system is malfunctioning. Freon can only be replaced by a certified technician.
