Question about Frigidaire Dishwashers
Good Afternoon Anonymous, this is Z. That's a great question!
May I please have your model number? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically located on the right side as you open the door. With this information I can verify the type of model you have and possibilities of why the green LED light is no longer on after the cycle has completed on your Frigidaire dishwasher. Thank you!

SOURCE: my dishwasher model adp 941 won't start - start led flashes
exactly the same problem today with an AD9520
Don't know the cause but from reading other posts re dishwasher problems I tried holding start but on for 5 - 10 seconds and it seemed to clear the symptoms at least. It ran for a short while and stopped but the flashing had stopped and I could start a wash cycle which is now running!

Hi.
If the dishwasher is not sanitizin that means that the machine does not detect that the water temperature required for sanitizing (120) is reached.
I do not have make an model info. Most appliances will reset simply by tripping the circuit breaker or disconnecting the power cord for two minutes. Some model requires holding Clear, Stop, or start button for several seconds.
If the problem happens again, check hot water inlet, if water inlet is dual, then call the service number listed in the owners manual. No sanitizing may be caused by faulty thermostat, hot inlet problems, defective control board or heating system if the machine is self heating.
Regards.
Ginko.

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/PUMP MOTOR/DRAIN to work when it is commanded .If this does not happen then the voltage at these points must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage/drive from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect. Check how to remove the control panel: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/dishwashers/a/3/1287/how-to-replace-a-hotpoint-dishwasher-fascia-p.html If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor. The water pressure must be good and the spraying must be seen to be good. If there is low pumping or pressure then the spray arms will not turn around to inject with pressure. If so the pump must be checked for clogging.

Hi
If clean light is blinking then it may be an
issue with heater circuit, door switch or wash pump, please reset the power to
the dishwasher. After, 5 minutes check if you are still getting the same error.
If yes, then it is a water heating fault. To resolve this error try pressing
this reset sequence-- Heat Dry - Normal - Heat Dry - Normal or High Temp - Air
Dry - High Temp - Air Dry or Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry, Hi Temp Scrub,
energy saver dry. Now let the unit run for 2-3 minutes and then you press
the Cancel/Drain button and allow it to completely drain and reset. If this
doesn't work then it's an issue with the wash pump not pumping the water past
the heater efficiently or due to lack of water to heat. Please make sure that
heater is not open circuited and is heating the water efficiently. You'll have
to check the heater using a multimeter; the meter should read between 3000 to
3300 ohms (Use multimeter on Rx1 ohm setting). If heater is fine then make sure
water pressure is optimum and fill valve is working fine. Hope this helps...
Please post back if you need more information.
