The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.
Use the Date/Time command in the Setup menu. Full details are in the "Setup Menu Options" section of the manual (page 99 in my copy). If you need a manual, you may download a copy here.
Sound like a problem with lens obstruction; if yopur battery is charged 100%, first try applied air compressor. Sometimes sand or other elements causing this problems.
Yes you have change the settings of you camera in saving pix. It's not a problem. On you menu, try to change the setting of saving your pix to memory like that of a cell phone. Try it, it'll work
