To reset the H3 or H4 condition on just about any Xerox XC or XD series copier press the following key's in sequence and as quickly as possible (with 4 seconds for the first 4 keys) Press "C" then the far left key (exposure mode) then the "C" key then the far left again. So in other words C, far left, C, far left If done correctly the display should go blank. Now key in 14 as if you were going to make 14 copies. Now press the print button. The machine should reset and the code should be gone. 9 times out of 10 this is a false code that pops up due to power surges or noise. If the code comes back this means you have a heater lamp or thermal fuse (more common) failure in the fusing area and will need service.
This procedure will work on all Xerox XD and XC models.
An LL43 is a fuser temperature error.
When you first turn on the printer it should display printer warming up and after a little while display the LL43. If the fuser is still cold then you probably blew the thermal fuse and it will need to be replaced.
either the paper pulling gears are not spinning properly or they are craked or getting blocked by any dust particles.
or the fuser unit in the copier is not getting properly heated up.fuser unit has to be checked first before replacing and the printer /copier needs to be opened to check the fuser unit.
Turn power on and within 4 sec.press the following sequence;clear, exposure, clear, exposure. The screen will go blank.Enter '1' and '4' then hit print.turn off. This will reset H4 if the fuser has no problems such as a bad fuser lamp or thermal fuse. And yes it,s worth fixing with the right guy working on it!
The fuser is not warming up.
On that machine under the web there is a thermal fuse on a white plastic mount, it has one screw through it.
It is most likely blown. Possibly caused by a jammed paper in the fuser.
That fusable link needs to be replaced.
