This is a probable sign the TV or monitor is dying, though in some cases it can be a bad cable, or bad video card (if this is a PC monitor).

Akai PT5598HDI Rear Screen Projection TV With Blue Shadowing

If the ghosting is like a 3D effect its your convergence ICs , but if its like a blue Halo around objects that usually means your CRT coolant has congealed and will need replacement. The blue is the first tube to congeal for some reason, followed by green. Red seems to be not quite as prone to this. It is a normal occurrence n sets about 4 years old to need the coolant changed.

How to Put on Eye Shadow

Achieving Smoky Eyes.If you're looking for a way to play up your eye color, go smoky. A smoky effect makes eye color pop and creates a dramatic evening look. Read on to learn how to create a flawless smoky eye.

Create a smooth canvas for eye makeup. First, you'll want to apply a primer to your entire face, including the eye area. Then apply a concealer to get rid of redness and dark circles. Finish off by applying a moisturizing foundation to create a flawless canvas.

Apply eyeliner. Use a black liner and draw a line across the upper lash line. When you get to the middle of the eye, make the line a little bit thicker. Choose a lighter-colored eyeliner and line the bottom of your eye. Smudge the liner with your finger to create a smoky appearance.

Apply two colors of eye shadow. In order to select the right products, check out eye shadow reviews. You'll want a color palette that has both a light and a dark color, such as L'Oreal Paris HiP Concentrated Shadow Duo. Use the lighter color as a base and blend the color all over your upper lid. Then, apply the dark eye shadow, starting at the lash line and blending upward.

Shadows/ghosting is present on screen at all times

What kind of shadowing are you seeing? Doe the picture look like a 3D movire (colors separated)? What is the make and model?

Please update this with the above info and I'll provide possible solutions.

Thanks,

Color ghosting or shadows

The most likely cause is shorted convergence chips and possibly a few pico fuses.

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony,Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer2_bing.gif Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.
You can get a convergenece repair kit with instructions from the links below.

Here are some of the most common problems with these sets...

Problem #1) Convergence

Yours may have one or more of the following symptoms...

*Screen Looks 3-D
*Colors wont align
*Screen may look distorted or warped
*No Audio/Video - TV Shuts down - May also make a constant chirping sound

Problem #2
Another common problem is dull or washed out video.

Your set may have one or more of the following symptoms....

*White looking picture
*Halos around objects
*Red/Orange looking picture

Tv duplicate image

your guns are off and need to be adjusted. your 3 guns (red, green and blue) are off and that would explain the funny colors and shadows. Have a tv tech come out and have a look, they can fix it for a reasonable price.
