What is the current value of serial number 74K7792

you are a bit light on information. You need make, model and calibre. In such cases where value is concerned, condition is paramount. Take a look at this. Also the Blue Book of Gun Values.

Canon serial for pdf manual

http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/professional/products/professional_cameras/digital_slr_cameras/eos_60d#BrochuresAndManuals

Is the page with their manuals and other literature.

The manuals you download off the site are not requiring a serial number to be entered. If your ROM is asking for one, try the camera serial number itself.

However they do not have support for the 64 bit versions of XP, Vista or 7 And Mac coverage is a little spotty a well.

If your camera is not being detected when on serial cable, you do need to install the driver, or Codec if it produces an error on image downloads It might also be a matter of updating the firmware of the camera with the download page for that update here:
http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/professional/products/professional_cameras/digital_slr_cameras/eos_60d#DriversAndSoftware
Check to see if yours has that update already, however if it was made before July of last year, it does not have the updated firmware.

If it is the Codec that is needed, the instructions are here:
http://kbsupport.cusa.canon.com/system/selfservice.controller?CONFIGURATION=1011&PARTITION_ID=1&secureFlag=false&TIMEZONE_OFFSET=&CMD=VIEW_ARTICLE&ARTICLE_ID=26638

If the camera is not detected at all, try a different cable and check to make sure the contacs are clean and undamaged.

I cannot get my flip ultra hd to connect via the usb to my computer.

I have the same problem, I think it concerns the updated software that causes the older flip not to appear on your computer - however I cannot find older version of the software to install - any one know where I an find it,

I need the software to run it.

The manual and driver for supported OS versions are here: http://www.dxgusa.com/downloads . The manuals for all of their cameras are listed first and then the drivers. They are listed in order so the DXG-572V driver is in the third line, third from the right of the driver section.

The driver may not have been updated from the original which for Windows XP/ME/2000/98SE. In Windows Vista 32-bit the driver may work or the correct driver may be in the OS. For Windows 7 32-bit, use the driver built into the OS. (Microsoft's compatibility center provided the information.)

With the 64-bit versions of these newer versions of Windows, the compatibility is unknown. However, the driver from the DXG site will probably not work without the compatibility mode, if it works at all. For compatibility mode, right click on the exe file and choose Properties, select the Compatibility tab and set it to run as Compatible with an older version of Windows. Then right click and Run as Administrator. Otherwise, keep it on a computer with the older OS, use a dual boot with the older OS or a virtual computer with an older version of Windows. With Win7 Pro or Ultimate, you can use the XP mode for a free virtual computer. (Download and install Microsoft's Virtual PC and then XP mode; install the camera to the virtual computer.) All other methods will need a licensed version of an older version of Windows. The only issue with the virtual computer is that files can't be shared between the two computers directly. Put them on external or optical media to share them with the real computer.

I hope this helps.

This is illegal. Please buy this product.

I gave this answer for your best. Because with an illegal key you will not be able to download updates & get support.

Additionally you make a crime.

Windows Vista does not recognize Canon PowerShot A80

Vista requires updated drivers for most of the older cameras. Unfortunately, Canon chose not to update the drivers for many of these cameras, including the A80. BUT please see the following blog article, as it describes the use of a card reader as a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos. In fact there are several important reasons discussed in the article for using a card reader vice downloading from the camera. USB Card readers are also very inexpensive these day, with cost virtually not an issue. Just make sure that you get one that's stated capable of reading a CF card:

A/V cable

Go to a store such as Radio Shack and see if they can get a cord for you.

Many other stores such as Walmart and Kmart may have these cords as well.

Many cameras use a mini plug to outlet video, others use a mini USB cord to either combo or individual plugs for out A/V and USB to computer.

Make sure your memory card is OK. Take it out, put it back in or try another card. Be sure battery is charged. Should not see low battery sign in viewfinder or in top panel. Try a reset. There is a problem sort of related to what you describe where a firmware update may cure it. D70 Firmware Update 1.0.1 / 1.0.2 - Windows. One of the problems this firmware fixes is :"When images were captured in Continuous mode at an Image size setting of M and an Image quality setting of FINE, the memory card access lamp sometimes glowed continuously and the camera could not be turned off with the power switch. This problem has been corrected." This bit of advice comes from another Web forum, not my own discovery. Maybe this happened and ran down your battery, unbeknownst to you. Turn the camera off and power it from an electrical outlet. Update the firmware per instructions on the Nikon site. If this does not work or if your firmware is updated, call Nikon for further advice. You may need to have it serviced. This blinking light problem has been mentioned on PN and another forum. Nikon may be familiar with it already.
