Inspect the lamp again. When you replace it, make sure you DO NOT TOUCH the glass. Make sure all doors and covers are securely in place before you turn it on.
As a rule, expensive lamps have a very short life.
Press the menu button from the remote, look for "Settings". You should have a "Sound" category. Once you've located that, press Enter to go into the submenu. You want to look for "Audio Out" option and change it from the default "Variable" to "Fixed". Then you should have sound in your headphone. You can just either mute or lower the volume of your TV. Hope this help.
I've had this problem with my projection TV recently. I would say your lens/lamp is to blame. It might be time to change it, depends on the last time it was changed, most of the time, the TV will tell you that it needs to be changed, but not always. I think your best bet is the TV lamp.
I would change the whole LAMP ASSEMBLY because if you touch the lamp while changing it out of the housing the oils on your hands will cause premature failure. Most of the time the lamp assembly's come with replacement instructions but yours is not too bad it is located on the left hand side if looking from behind set.
First, turn off the tv. Once the fan has stopped, unplug the
tv. Remove the front cover from it latches (takes up most of the
area below the screen). On the left is the lamp door. One
screw holds the door. Remove lamp door. Looks like one
screw holds the lamp assembly. Loosen screw and remove
lamp. Lamp may be hot if the set was running before you began the
If you have a new lamp assembly, reverse the process. If a new
lamp without assembly, change lamps. CAREFUL. No fingerprints on
the new lamp. The oil in the fingerprints will shorten the life
of the new lamp.
