Dhcp should be on. After enabling make sure that you are receiving an IP address from your Router. After that restart your TV and try to stream a movie from Netflix.

Adjust the NAT firewall on the router to open a port or two for Netflix to stream.

SOURCE: Just purchased a Vizio 37" HDTV with Netflix app

The Vizio does not have Internet capabilities. You need to hook up a computer via the VGA or HDMI port. Then youor computer controls what you do with the intenet.

It seems that the wireless connection between the router and the ROKU is broken due to which you are not able to see the video. i am not sure about the settings of the ROKU but if you want then i can take the remote access of your computer and try checking the configuration of your router and roku (if possible)

SOURCE: Belkin g mimo router blocking netflix streaming

Hello,

There is not much protection you will be getting from the firewall of that router. You could let it be disabled and if you feel that the router firewall should be enabled then you might have to check if there is any firewall update for this product. You could log on to.. http://www.belkin.com/support and enter your product details including the version number you will be able to download the firmware.

Hope this helped.

Can only get Netflix and not TV

Easy Ways to Get Netflix & Other Video Streaming Services On Your TV Smart TVs: If you've bought a television from LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Vizio or any number of other manufacturers in the past few years, it might be an Internet-enabled Smart TV offering access to services like Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, and Hulu Plus at the very least Blu-ray Players: Like some televisions, many Blu-ray players are now "smart," offering access to streaming services. A few video streaming apps, like Netflix, may come preloaded. Others you may have to download and install. If you already have one of these smart Blu-ray players, you may not need an additional streaming device. Game Consoles: PlayStations 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and Wii U all offer streaming basics: Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, YouTube and Hulu. Xbox offers the most-64 channels including HBO Go, Showtime Anywhere, Starz Play, CBS Sports, MLB.TV, Nat Geo TV, Vudu, Sling TV and many others.Smartphones, Tablets and laptops: If you have a newer smartphone and TV made by the same manufacturer, there might be a screen mirroring setting such as Samsung's AllShare or LG's Miracast on both devices. This enables you to cast whatever's on your smartphone to your TV. For laptops, just plug it into your TV with an HDMI cable. Or, if you want to go wireless, check to see if your laptop and TV support WiDi, Wireless Display.

What special equipment do I need to watch Netflix

All you need is a computer and a connection to the internet and you can watch it directly on Netflix.com. In addition you can download the free Netflix app onto your smart TV, game console, streaming player, phone or tablet.
If what you are really asking is how do you watch it on your digital TV (not smart TV) then you will need a wireless home network and a streaming internet player such as Amazon Stick, Roku or Chromecast. Your digital TV will need an HDMI input connection. Most players are also powered through a USB port so it would be helpful to have a USB port on the TV but it can be powered with a transformer at a normal AC plugin.

\I wish to start up Netflix on my TV

Do you own a smart tv or a streaming device like a Ruko, a blu-ray player with streaming capabilities, or a xbox or other gaming console with streaming feature?... Also you need high speed internet with a downstream speed of 15Mbps or greater for streaming video in HD, an updated modem and a and very fast router running at least 300Mbps or greater. IMO. This works for me.

I have Netflix on my upstairs Vizio smart TV, but for some reason will not connect on my downstairs Vizio smart TV? Please help.

First thing I would check is Internet connection on the smart tv that won't connect. If that doesn't work try downloading new software for Netflix. Try those and see what happens.

Need help adding Netflix on my VIZIO tv

Make sure you have a smart TV (has the netflix App preloaded). Then make sure your TV is connected to the internet via wired or wireless. Once this is complete bring up the vizio menu (hit the V button on the remote) and then you can open the Netflix app and sign in. If you do not have a "smart tv" then you will need some other device like a PS3, Wii or other to access netflix.
