This is the part. You have to remove all the panels, The drum counter weights and finally the drum. Then you have to remove the inner drum from the plastic outer drum. Once removed you can get to the screws that hold the paddles in place. Then put it all back together. It may be easier to call a repair man in your area.

SOURCE: Hi: Frigidaire GLTF530DSO started

Hello, Welcome to FixYa. I suspect the rear bearing or spider gear is toast, thus the reason the shock absorbers where broke in the first place. Very common for these machines unfortunately. It is a very involved repair either way but if you think you're up to it ( plus, is it worth it ? Parts are in the range of $400-$500 ) I can help in whatever manner possible with those frigidaire washers. I'll watch for your reply. Good luck. Regards, Macmarkus :)

Hello - Generally speaking, there is not a paddle on a front load washer however there is a "vane" which is where the water comes out of. What issue is the unit experiencing exactly? Can you tell me if it is displaying any specific error codes? If I know more information on what the issue is, I can try to better assist you further.

LG front load washer wd11029d drum paddle. Having trouble removing.

The drum paddles are screwed from the outside of the bowl. To access them, you have to completely strip the machine and remove the wash bowl. The paddles are rarely available as a spare part. You may be able to repair it or remove it. This will affect the wash action to a certain extent if you take it out. Its a big job.

    Hello,
With some of these machines now they have sealed drums. On some models you can access through the bottom sump hose and others you may be able to get access through the hose by the soap box. There are a couple of drums where you can drill a hole in the top to get at the tags on the paddles and some drums where you cannot do without changing the complete tub.

    Hope this helped.
