if you mean freezer is over cooling because of frost on back panel of freezer then its having a defrost issue and items to check are the defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat when it frost up in freezer air cannot pass to frig section
niether. is there frost on back wall of freezer? if no look behind back wall and see if there is frost on all the coils when running. if less than 80% is frosty...freon. or is there frost covering back panel..if so then defrost problem would be correct. but side would be warm so I think not.
check evaporator fan to see if it is blowing air over to ref. side.you also could have a defrost problem.if you notice frost forming on the back panel inside freezer then it is a defrost problem.all parts are in freezer that need to be checked.
