SOURCE: How do I remove the back panel from a samsung

Samsung LCD TVs has 12-16 screws that need to be removed before taking back off.

Dont forget the screws that hold the connection panel (SCART, HDMI, etc) and the bottom screws that hold the stand. These are screws i missed when i first opened my Samsung TV.

Good luck !

SOURCE: Samsung HP-T4264 will not autoprogram, locks up on

Reset to factory specifications by turning tv on, and then using the remote, hit power off, mute key, 1, 8, 2, and power on. Interval between key strokes is less than 3 seconds. When tv comes back on it shows Service Mode Display, key up to reset and press enter. Was able to autoprogram without any problems.

No way, Jose!
Those bastards manufactures are always making sure you won't be able to use parts from one model to the other. Especially-display! LCD panels could be rigged, but no plazma's. Sorry!
Sell it for parts to some repair shop and get yourself LCD or LED panel. Plazma is gone!

There is more than two screws holding the back cover on. I think it is more like 4 to 6. After you have removed all the screws you will nee a flat screw driver to help pry the two halves apart. Be careful the front of the cover has little snaps that help hold the two together.

Is it possible to remove the speaker panel for Samsung HP-R5072?

It is possible to remove the speaker panel for a Samsung HP-R5072 television, but it will depend on the specific model and design of the television. Some Samsung televisions have removable speakers, while others have speakers that are built into the TV.
If your Samsung HP-R5072 television has removable speakers, you should be able to remove the speaker panel by following these steps:
  1. Locate the speaker panel: The speaker panel is typically located at the bottom or the back of the television. It may be secured with screws or clips.
  2. Remove the screws or clips: Use a screwdriver or other tool to remove the screws or clips that are holding the speaker panel in place.
  3. Carefully remove the panel: Once the screws or clips have been removed, you should be able to carefully lift the speaker panel away from the television.

Samsung plasma appears to overheat and displays bright blue areas on screen - mostly where picture should be white.

may be the fans are blocked or malfunction.
Don`t continue using if is overheat, you can broken others parts.
I recommend clean the TV, put the blower or aspirator near the vents air (slots for ventilation).

If you can dissamble the TV, remove the fan and check it or replace.

You can buy it at your service center

I doubt that moisture damaged the SMPS bd.
There are many circuit boards in your set and it will take a trained samsung tech to find the problem.
