Check to see if you need new batteries, or just remove batteries and reinstall to reset device.

My digital gram scale does not work. the screen has some kind of word. Please help

Try recalibrating it by turning it on while holding the "tare" or "mode" button. It should show a raw data from the sensor then. Press the tare button again and it should calibrate the empty weight. Then it will show a specific weight you should put on, usually 100g. It should automatically finish calibration now. Hope this helps. The words before calibration on my scale was OUt2

The numbers on the digital readout are partly

If the display is showing "partial digits" on the display, it means a scale is excessively shaken (sometimes during shipping) it's possible for the LCD to become partially separated from the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). On many models you can gently press on the LCD and it will reconnect. However on many scales it's difficult to reach the LCD (without removing the cover) and thus the scale will often have to be returned to the manufacturer for repair. Contact them at 1-800-326-6247 for the Conair appliance customer service center.

When i turn on my digiweigh dw 100ax scales F--H appears on the screen how do i fix that and calibrate the scales when done

I thought the scale was just completely broken, I was able to fix by doing the following.

1. turn unit off
2. hold down the on/off/tare AND the MODE button.
3. The unit will come up with a bunch of numbers on the screen. Release the buttons
4. Press MODE once, you will see "100" flash on the screen. if you don't press the button a second time.
5. place 100g of tare weights on the scale.
6. Press MODE button again. After this my scale said PASSED and shut off.
7. remove tare weights and turn device on. It should now register properly.

In my case. the scale was misregistering the 50g weights as 75. I shut it off. I pulled up ever so slightly on the scale plate on the hinge side of the plate are repeated steps 1-7.

I have no idea why they don't have a 3 part calibration on these.

It is working like a charm now!

Calibration is off

My Weight Watchers digital scales model#ww39 has gone haywire. I put new batteries in it to no avail. You tap it and the numbers come right up then changes to 000.0 as it should, when you step on the scales the numbers flash as they should but either they weight you about 100lbs to heavy or the numbers continue to blink and the LCD goes blank. Can they be fixed? Can I fix them myself at home? Do I need to shoot them? Just throw them out in the yard? Please I need help!!

Conair scale ww36gd err reading

I have a WW36DG digital scale and most of the instructions are the same, so far as I can see. When you tap on the scale, 888.888 appears. It is just seting itself. If you step on the scale before it reads 00.0 it wil give you a Err signal. If you stepped on the scale after it read 00.0, and an Err signal appears, either your battery is very low or it is malfunctioning. it does have a 10 year warranty on it. For the person wanting to set the scale, here are the directions. Good luck.
