Light comes on and I hear multiple clicks. Green light on back comes on, hear another click, then the green light goes out after about 2-3 sec
Your power supply is at fault. Pull this board out. Look for transformer (Location #) T701. under this transformer find (Location #) EL41. With a small sharp screwdriver, scratch an area around this pin. Now, with a hot soldering iron and solder....resolder this pin. Your TV will be just like new. There will be no capacitors to replace. This is one of the best power supplies built for Philips. Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV.

Mine does the same thing. Was told by the TV repair guy it is a bad control panel.

when the light goes red it should be blinking a two digit code and repeat itself continuosly. slow blinks are the first digit and fast blinks are the second digit

Mine was doing that and I ordered a replacement power supply board for it and now it work. It's fairly easy to replace.
