When printing it print only about 1/3 of the image (from left to right) while the rest is left white.
I try changing paper, cartridge (sony original) cleaning the internal parts with cleaning cartridge but the problem won't be solved.
Thanks for helping
Andrea
They are thinking the cartridges are dirty or the heads. I am thinking it is a setting for the printer or an actual glitch in the printing program. If you have successfully printed on this printer before, then very carefully go through the settings, looking for print margins settings specifically. This sounds simple but you might want to make sure your paper trays are adjusted correctly.
It is obvious that cleaning is not the problem as you said you have done that to no avail.
If you have successfully printed with that printer before, then it is either an incorrect printer setting, the paper tray is setted incorrectly or ana ctual glitch inside the printer.
Check the first two first.
Set the printer back to default settings and your photo printing program also. Check the paper tray to ensure it is in the correct position. Try again.

I have a terrific Sony dpp fp55 dye sublimation printer
that worked great until Sony decided not
to update the drivers for Windows 7. This is the second time I have had a Sony
product, the last was a laptop Vaio, and Sony stopped keeping up with drivers
for new operating systems.
I did make a work around. First I hammered the VAIO until it was flat and the
disk drive could not be used to gather any information. With the sony dpp fp55,
I did better. I used my desktop computer with Windows 7 professional to pass
all the photos that I wanted to print to a memory card on my Toshiba laptop.
That was easy. Then I moved the card to my sony dpp fp55 printer and printed my
photos from the memory card. Works fine. Not a big convenience. I also decided
to take that hammer to my thumb if I ever bought another Sony product with
their Sony Corporation plan of obsolescence, by not keeping up with drivers for
their products. I know they have the
ability but when you call, they just offer you a new printer. No way, baby.
I don't like their business philosophy or their hand in my pocket.

the model is DPP-FP55
I tried following several times as described into the Sony support faq but without any success: all the right part of the paper remain white ( no printing) while the left part is printed correctly..
Open the cartridge compartment lid and remove the print cartridge.
Insert the supplied cleaning cartridge into the printer and close the cartridge compartment lid.
Remove the paper tray from the printer. If there is print paper in the tray, remove it from the tray.
Remove
the tray adaptor from the paper tray if it is attached, and insert the
protective sheet of the supplied printing pack in to the paper tray
with the no-imprint side facing up.
Set the paper tray into the printer and press PRINT. Cleaning will start.
When
finished, remove the cleaning cartridge and protective sheet from the
printer, and then set the print cartridge and print paper into the
printer again.
Have you checked model number at Sony support faqs? Check the troubleshooting section of the user manual also.
