Do a factory reset but copy down all your settings first.

The pass word was set up with the office manager/admin. They were given a code as well. having both codes means you are Authorized. The op manual describes it really well and has one of the best explanations in the industry. The Toshiba is a great copier and had a lot of success in mid sized environments.the password you are referring to is to wake it up and make copies? or to change department parameters? without sacrificing your offices secure integrity I must stick with the User manual, usually kept directly behind the copier in a holder of it's own.( if the holder broke it probably in the cabinet below) hope this helps a little~ surely if you're on the up and up you'll understand why copiers have passwords... Getting into the setting mode and changing ANYTHING could really be a bad day for the office and the owner of the copier. In the 90's the Toshiba's had 30some codes in the setting mode now days there is over4000. The Admin has pretty good training on how to retrieve or change codes. They even are given the service managers and or salesman's cell number if they get into an issue. start with the User manual usually kept behind the copier in its holder or under in the stand. then go to office manager and ask for help. If you got the copier used without a book(s) then it would be a great opportunity to get to know your Toshiba Business Solutions company Rep~ you'll probably need a Prevent/Maint in that case. hope this helped a little Tosh tech 23yrs~~sc
