Sony KP-61XBR200 Convergence problem, when i press auto focus on the front of tv it runs its process then at the end reads (E 14G) the green color makes a bad shadow on the screen. when i cover up the green light in the back of tv its much better i can watch it like that but it could be better

The sets made by Sony require the original working remote for this--several different remotes were used--A universal may call up the PIP but not be able to turn it off.

If you have the original remote use the swap or position buttons to see if they function at all--what remote are you using?

Model number does not sound quite correct but if a convergence problem both chips the set uses will have to be replaced and the set adjusted with the Sony remote.

Confirm actual model number and Google it with "parts" to see what it uses. Most convergence chips will have the actual STK number right on the front of them and almost all Sony sets use two chips.

Press the Majic Focus button on the front. If that doesn't fix it then the convergence ICs may be bad.

If after trying the auto focus correction you still get the colors out of alignment you will need to have the tv checked for defective convergence power amplifiers, these make the color correction and are always hard driven so they need to be cooled down by way of heavy heat dissipators. repair of the convergence board often take the two amps plus some pico fuses and depending on the experience of the tech it might be done at the house.

Replace STK-392-110s or 150s upgrade with 180s replace both ics.

Go to front of TV remove front bottom there you will find the focus and screen Block it has 3 on top and 3 on bottom This is to adjust screen drives and focus for each Tube R/G/B. also in front of ICs check your pico fuses they will look like resistors will be Green or yellow make sure they are good if opened they can cause your problem as well.
