When the ALPHA key is pushed the cursor shows an A. Press one of the keys that has the same color as the ALPHA key (A,B,C,...X,Y,Z).
If you have the MathPrint OS, the ALPHA F1/F2/F3/F4 sequence activates shortcuts to newe features (fractions, logab, sums etc..)

Have an Abit A17 motherboard that stops booting with a check sum error. Code on the digital readout is either IA or 1A, neither of which is in the manual. Any idea about this?

Press delete as the system boots up and go into BIOS Setup.

Change boot sequence so that your machine starts with the CD/DVD ROM disk.

Boot from the CD/DVD and do a clean installation.

My daughter's homework is the for the sequence below is add * 2.4 ____ ____ ____ 17.2 can anyone help?

I'd guess there should be some more information... for all we know, you might be requested to add 3.7 to each number, so that you get 2.4, 6.1, 9.8, 13.5 and finally 17.2 . (You get 3.7 by subtracting the first number from the last, and dividing by the number of sums - which is the number of blanks plus one).
This is the simplest linear sequence, but in truth, it could be anything.

Let me know, especially if you gather any additional information.
