SOURCE: RCA 46" Rear Projection TV-How do you adjust the convergence colors

are you looking to correct the problem or make and adjustment
adjustments you can do from the remote once you in the menu
however if that doesn't fix your problem most likely it need convergence ic's

SOURCE: RCA P46924 46 in rear projection tv will not turn on

More than likely it has bad solder connections on the circuit board. You could try tapping lightly on power supply/deflection boards to see if it makes contact. Usually I find bad solder on those right under where the power cord plugs in, on the bottom of the board. If you have a soldering iron and solder you could save a few hundred dollars in repair costs, but use caution and make sure all power to set is disconnected. Maybe mark each plug as you disconnect them. Hope this helps. Good luck, Russmann.

SOURCE: rca projection tv is blurry

Hi, you need a tv tech, G2 focus block and pincushion circuit are what your describing, these are both related to the high voltage circuit but are 2 different circuits, definitely not a layperson repair, do yourself a favor and call a tech on this one, good luck, video-tek

SOURCE: rca projection tv is blurry

Find a large rifle and put it out of its misery. Bowing is either from a problem in the pincushion correction circuit or the convergence circuit. Blurry picture or poor color rendition is most likely bad CRTs ( picture tubes)

RCA 46 in rear projection

The first thing that I would check is in the audio menu to see if it is set on the SAP mode (secondary audio programming). If it is and there is no audio being broadcast on that channel, then you would have to turn SAP to off (which is usually what it is set to). Now there have been problems with the audio dropping out on regular CRT style RCA televisions where the audio would drop out, and you had to unplug the set for about 30 seconds to reset the TV, and I would try that next.

RCA 46" TV

That's every interesting! I wonder if its the manufacturer setting on where there is some issue it does that... Is your product still under its warranty? Are you able to select anything in the main menu? Or is it frozen up on you?
