In the portion of my WJRE5500G2WW manual that refers to water temp (page 6 para. B)the text makes reference to a PerfecTemp and a TAP COLD feature. While my machine has the word PerfecTemp over the temp. selector knob, there are no markings indicating a TAP COLD feature or setting. Will the COLD/COLD setting keep the machine from adding hot water to the fill?

SOURCE: water fill temp.

check to make sure that your hot water isn't connected to the cold side this is the number one cause for your problem all washers rinse in cold so if you switch to and its hot cold then your hose is on the wrong valve just switch the fill hoses see if that don't fix it

Hi,

Page 7 of the manual list some options. Please make sure that you're cooling full bottles in your machine for at least 60 minutes. That is, cooling take at least 60 minutes. Heating is only 3. Double check that the fuse linked to the outlet that powers your machine hasn't blow. For more details, please check page 7 of your product manual.

Thank you.

Water is not cold

NO SOLUTION, THERE'S JUST NO EXTRA TUBING. Domestic refers with water dispensing feature will have a coil of plastic water tubing tucked away in the refer behind a drawer or at the bottom; it hold s cedent amount of cold water when you dispense it. However, You won't find this additional tubing in a Samsung refer. This fridge is made 'abroad' by folks don't have the same standards as the U.S. The icemaker, for instance, is found to be accepatable by their standards when it makes 72 cubes per day; HAH! We use more than that for dinner. We buy bagged ice and use a Brita pitcher. I will switch back to Whirlpool or Maytag when this thing craps out.

Rheem rte13 standby (green) light not on

You might have crossover problem caused by bad faucet cartridge.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Crossover.html

The green standby light should come on when 240Volt power is applied. Page 6 manual.
Both red lights should come on when tankless is activated. Page 6 manual

RTE 13 requires 60 amp breaker and 6 gauge wire
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-Tankless-electric-water-heater.html
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Rheem-TanklessElectricUC_AP15447.pdf

Factory temperature setting is usually default 120 degrees.
Adjust temps page 11 manual
Thermostat calibration is always approximate.
120 degrees is not hot enough to burn the skin.
Exceptionally cold incoming water temperature can cause tankless not to heat enough hot water: install tempering tank to preheat water to room temperature.
Tankless cannot be exposed to more than 11 grains hardness in water. Delime tankless yearly, clean water filter monthly, do not install low-flow restrictions or conserve water since the flow rate must remain high for tankless to activate.
Rheem does not post service manuals for their tankless water heaters.
Call Rheem 800 432-8373

I have a precision temp r500 instant hot water heater for my RV. When I turn on a hot water tap the igniter comes on for 5 seconds and lights the flame, as soon as the igniter goes out, the flame goes out....

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
Here is the Service Manual:
http://www.precisiontemp.com/Manuals/RV500_Service_Manual.pdf

Before you troubleshoot inside the unit do the steps in para 3.3 page 7 of the manual to make sure you have good power.

There is a testing procedure on page 39 that should cover everything stated below.

Do the flow-meter check para 4.2 page 12.

Do the thermistor tests para 4.5 page 12. (See figure 5 page 18 for resitance readings)

Page 19 will show you test points on the control board.

DO NOT do the auto-calibration procedure para 4-15 page 38 until you know you have corrected the problem.

This should help you resolve the problem.
From here I think this is related to the flow-meter as you have no other failures. If there is debris in the flow-meter assembly and it stops turning / measuring flow rate due to debris; you will have the symptom you describe.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

The part where I pour fabric softener in it seems to be clogged somehow. I cleaned it out and it seems to still be clogged is there any suggestions that you can give me?? Please help...thanks!!

Are you sure you have water flow to the reservoir?

Does it look like the Fabric Softener is diluted with water flow?

The Service Manual for reference. Sears Parts Direct for reference.
See page 33 of the Service Manual for Bleach/Softener Dispenser Removal but I don’t think that is your problem….Rich

See page 16 of the Service Manual to go into Board Output Test. Turn on the Fabric Softener Valve and see if you hear the solenoid hum then turn on the Cold water valve and see if the dispenser fills and flushes with cold water. If not then you need to begin troubleshooting at the dispenser valve. This valve can be seen on page 36 lower left side pic and top right side pic…..Rich
