Question about Microsoft Zune JS8-00001 Digital Media Player

Q can my zune get pre existing music and mp3 from my pc files on it? i have several cds and mp3s i downloded for my last mp3 player and i wanted to know if they can be put on my new zune through the zune data or the windows midia player?

1) Insert the CD that comes with your zune.
2) wait for prompt, connect your zune through the USB cable.
3) New firmware will be installed on the zune.
4) Open the program called 'Zune' from "My Computer".
5) If your music is not in the default My Music folder, click Options > Add Folder To Library > Add Folder. Browse to select your folder, then click OK.
5) Click the circle made out of two arrows, this is your sync button.
6) A new tab with appear on the right side of the program, click Start Sync at the bottom.
7) Wait until you see Sync Complete, disconnect your zune and enjoy.

iTunes song have DRM protection, you have to remove DRM from iTunes and convert M4a to MP3.

The MP3 player can only play music files that are in mp3 file format.

How do i get my music from my 30gb 1st generation zune

If you have not erased the MP3 files on the Zune, you should still have them on the Zune and can play these MP3 music files.
When you plug your Zune into the computer can you see the MP3 files on the Zune as an external drive on the computer?
If so you can copy the MP3 files back into your computer.

Deleting Files,Pictures,etc from MP3 Player

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.

I want to burn music from MP3 Rocket. It is downloaded but cannot find ANY info on the steps to burn onto CDs.

Open the music you want to burn in Windows Media player... at the top you will find an option to burn the files to disc - this will create an Audio disc that can be played in any CD player.

If you want to back up the Mp3s as data files you should simply insert an empty CD a window will pop up asking you what you want to do - select add files to CD (burn data CD) and then select the MP3s you want to burn... these files will not play on normal CD players.

Trying to delete music from my zune mp3 player

loadTOCNode(3, 'moreinformation');

Start the Zune software.
Click Collection, and then click one of the following:
- Music
- Videos
- Pictures
- Podcasts
- Channels
Right-click the item that you want to remove, and then click Delete.
Select the option that you want to use, as follows:
- Keep file(s) but remove from collection
  The item remains on the computer, but the item is removed from your collection.
- Delete file(s) and remove from collection
  The Item is deleted from the computer, and the item is removed from your collection.
Click OK.

Want to put music back on my zune,it wouldn't sinc,

May have to reset the zune to factory default settings...

Try this....
Reset Zune: Press and hold the back button while pressing up on the control pad.
Connect Zune to a power source: If the Zune device is in sleep mode, this action will wake the Zune device and turn it on. If the battery does not have a charge, you may have to wait several minutes for the Zune device to turn on.

Also, make sure that the hold button on top of your zune is turned to the off position.
