Not printing Was printing ok. Next use (I don't use printer much) airline ticket, not readable. My ink display says I have plenty of ink. I have used it since I replaced it severl months ago. I did re-install the s/w, no change??

    I have full color and black inks but the printed sheet , whether black and white or color comes out in faint pink print .

I want to print my dording pass with Spirit Airline

First, I'm sorry you're flying Spirit Airlines. They have the worst ratings of all airlines. If you can't seem to command a print with the ticket, then do a "Print Screen". Paste it into Word or PowerPoint and cut off what you don't need leaving just the ticket.

Epson DX4200, all installed properly, new cartridges, monitor showing them full .. and they are as i have just replaced, yet still the printer goes through the motions of printing, yet i just get a blank...

Hello.
Just make sure any air hole stickers have been removed from the cartridges. They allow the ink to flow when installed and Non-Epson brand ones sometimes have a air hole cover to stop leaking during transit.

Ink system failure. States ink system has failed, unable mto print. Error 0xc18a0201

Try the following tricks:
Press and hold the “left arrow” key.
Press the “Setup” key and release both keys.
Display should say “Enter Special Key Combo”
Press and release the “Ok” button Press and release the right arrow button until the display says “System Configuration Menu”.
Press and release the “Ok” button.
Display should say “Hardware failure status”. If not there already, Arrow Key over to “Hardware failure status”,
Press and release the “Ok” button.
Display should say “Hardware failure status: Clear.
Press Ok to clear”.
Press and release the “Ok” Button. Message changes to “Hardware failure status Cleared. Press Cancel to continue”.
Press and release the “Cancel” button as many times as necessary, so that, either the “Welcome to
Photosmart Express” screen appears, or, the “Ink System Failure” screen appears.Please do not try to Print at this stage.
Using the Power Button, turn the unit Off and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet.
Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first and then into the back of the printer.
Turn the unit on. The printer may display message “Use only the power button to shut down the printer” followed
by “Press Ok to continue”. Press Ok. If the printer has already initialized, then go to the next step. If not, the printer will start the
“One time ink initialization process”. Allow this process to complete and do not interrupt. Once the initialization process is complete, the printer will print out a Diagnostic Page.
To verify printer functionality print a Self Test Page. If Self Test prints, then printer is ready for use.

Try unplugging from the wall for 5 minutes / plug in and retry, cancels / resets printer memory.

Can print...ink system failure - followed process but it wont wor

release the right arrow button until the display says “System Configuration Menu”. (on C8100 use Touch Screen)
2. Press and release the “OK” button.
3. Display should say “Hardware failure status”. If not there already, Arrow Key over to “Hardware failure status”,
4. Press and release the “OK” button.
5. Display should say “Hardware failure status: Clear. Press OK to clear”.
6. Press and release the “OK” Button. Message changes to “Hardware failure status Cleared. Press Cancel to continue”.
7. Press and release the “CANCEL” button as many times as necessary, so that, either the “Welcome to Photosmart Express” screen appears, or, the “Ink System Failure” screen appears. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.
8. Using the Power Button, turn the unit OFF and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet.
9. Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first and then into the back of the printer
10. Turn the unit on. The printer may display message “USE POWER BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE PRINTER” followed by “PRESS OK TO CONTINUE”. Press OK.
11. If the printer has already initialized, then go to the next step. If not, the printer will start the “ONE TIME INK INITIALIZATION PROCESS”. Allow this process to complete and do not interrupt. Once the initialization process is complete, the printer will print out a Diagnostic Page.
12. To verify printer functionality print a SELF TEST PAGE. If SELF TEST prints, then printer is ready for use or Software Installation.
13. If the error is still there, or reoccurs replace the unit

HP officejet 6310 All-in-One When I try to print a copy of an airline reservation, from the ticket, or selected "print" on computer, it doesn't run off the ticket. It prints Page 1 of 1 on top of the page...

Make sure you're using the website's printer-friendly option when printing the ticket. Look for an option on the webpage (not in the pull-down file menu) that will correctly format the information for printing.

Yellow light flashing

You did not mention which printer or inks you had but if you unplug the printer for 20 seconds should reset. Make sure the plastic film was removed from the ink when you installed

Ink replacement has not helped print

Sounds like a damaged or dirty flex cable to the print heads. If those tiny contacts go bad, nothing will print properly. Check the cartridge and socket area for any dirt or dis-coloration. The connections can be cleaned with contact cleaner (from radio shack), and then dried with isopropl alcohol (use the purest you can find).
