I got a call from my alarm company checking on a power outage on my alarm. It seems that my gas stove tripped the kitchen gfi circuit. When I reset the gfi outlet all my ignitors started firing. I haven't spilled liquids or cleaned the stove more than a wipe off lately. I have noticed a faint burning smell when I walked into the kitchen the last few days. I unplugged the stove to stop it..

the manufacturer recommends a 15 amp time delay breaker or fuse. Which means to me that a GFI outlet will not work on this unit. most of the time it just causes more problems than it is worth? I would only use those type of outlets if code required it.

You will need a new switch harness part#12002789 and spark module part#74007397.
1. You can gain access to the switch harness by unscrewing 2x screws on each of the burners
2. The remove old wire harness and replace with new
3. Follow the wire from the harness it will lead to the spark module now replace it
Good Luck
