Download the software for the OS you used the camera on before
Right click on the shortcut icon on the desktop and select 'Properties'
Select the 'Compatibility' tab
Check the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode for'
Use the drop down menu to find the OS you successfully used the cam for
Click 'Apply' and 'OK'
Trial and error the other settings on this page - I think I checked 'disable visual themes' but not sure now ( Windows 98 was a long time ago !! )

The most likely reason it isn't working is because the cd you got has older drivers which don't support windows 7, so you need to go on to the logiteck website and get the latest driver for it.

It doesn't let me even install it from the disc. It says that logitech isn't compatible with windows 7 every time I try. >:L

Not compatible or not working well with windows 7?
(making a program work with windows 7)
Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is
for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like
you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from
other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before
installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use
"troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program
installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will
allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run.
Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:))
