My breville espresso machine is not sending water through the tank, how can I fix this?

Contact an Authorised Breville service agent and ask them. I doubt it will be a problem that is going to be fixed by button pressing on the outside, someone is going to need to do some dismantling to find out where the water stops.

Descaling Single Boiler Home espresso machines (HOME SINGLE BOILER ESPRESSO MACHINES)

Approximately every 3 months (depending on your use and the water hardness), clean the machine with natural citric acid based decalcifying agent.
1. Add a descaling solution into the water reservoir. Mix thoroughly to dissolve (use warm water for better results).
2. Remove the filter holder and place a cup under the group head and another cup, or other container, under the steam wand to catch cleaning solution.
3. Turn espresso machine on, turn coffee pump on and run approximately 8 oz. of solution through the brew head. Turn machine off and let the machine sit for 15 minutes.
4.Run approximately 8 oz. through the steam wand, and again, turn machine off and let sit for 15 minutes.
Repeat by allowing solution to run alternately through the steam wand and brew head. Turn espresso machine off after each cycle. Repeat process until solution has been run through.
5. Do not leave espresso machine on. Do not wait for the ready light to come on. Do not use the steam switch during this process. Do not allow reservoir to run empty!
6. Rinse reservoir thoroughly with fresh water. Refill reservoir with fresh water. Run half a tank of fresh water through group head, alternating between group head and steam wand.

It is spitting and am not getting much steam

Probably needs decalcifying. If the iron has a steam boost button then fill it with water, turn it on and wait for it to heat up, hold it over the kitchen sink and repeatedly press the steam boost button. this may clear any blockages.

If that does not work then you can purchase a cleaning solution from a hardware store that is used to decalcify the iron. You fill the tank with the solution and let it pass through the iron to remove calcium deposits. Instructions will be provided with the solution.

DESCALING The Saphira has an integrated descaling program. The procedure takes about 60 minutes. Once started, the descaling procedure may not be stopped. • When acid-containing descalers are used, immediately remove any splashes or drops on sensitive surfaces, particularly from natural stone and wood surfaces. Also, take the appropriate safety precautions. • Turn off the Saphira by pressing the "ON/OFF" button. • Press the button "Descale" until an acoustic signal is heard. • Display: EMPTY DRIP TRAY (Fig.1) • Display: INSERT AGENT IN TANK • Display: PRESS DECALCIFYING Dissolve 2 DESCALING tablets completely in 2.5 cups of water in a vessel and pour the mixture into the empty water tank. Place a sufficiently large container under the steam tube and the coffee delivery outlet. • Press the Descale button • Display: UNIT DECALCIFYING • Display: PLEASE WAIT • An acoustic signal is heard. • Display: EMPTY DRIP TRAY (Fig.1) • Display: FILL WATER TANK • Display: PRESS DECALCIFYING • Press the Descale button • Display: UNIT DECALCIFYING • Display: PLEASE WAIT • An acoustic signal is heard. • Display: EMPTY DRIP TRAY • Display: CLEAN CONTACTS

The machine is on and says decalcify/ready to use. It does not respond to pushing any of the buttons. It does produce steam if you turn the right knob, but nothing else works. How do I get it to respond?

Have you had the same message for a while, but were able to make coffee? When was the last time you decalcified the machine? Your Syncrony probably needs to be decalcified. But do not use the descalers you usually find in the grocery stores, which are for drip coffee makers. Durgol is one of the best ones and the advantage is that it comes as a liquid (on the powder descalers you have to make sure they dissolve completely before you use them and that you measure the correct amount of water). You can find it online or the only store I could find that carries it is Bed, Bath and Beyond. Turn the machine off and let it cool off. When you are ready, take the water tank off and add the decalcifying solution mixed according to the instructions on the package. If you are using a powder, mix it in a different container. And never pour the solution in the tank while this is on the machine (also, make sure the coffee beans container has the cover on - you don't want any liquid making it into the grinder, as it will damage it). Put the water tank with the descaling solution back and turn the machine on. You will then have to press and hold the button that looks like the number 8 on the side (or the infinity symbol in math) and the machine will start the descaling process. Follow the instructions on the display. Put a large container under the steam wand and turn the knob (the same knob you turn for steam and hot water). Be sure to watch for when descaling is done (you will have a message on the display indicating that). Close the knob, rinse the water tank well, fill it with fresh water and put it back on the machine, which will now need to be rinsed. Place an empty container under the steam wand and push the same (8 on the side) button once, turn the knob. The machine will start the rinsing process. You might have to refill the water tank once or twice before it is finished. Once rinsing is done, your machine will be ready for use or it will ask you to ventilate. To do that, fill the water tank with fresh water, place an empty container under the steam wand, push the hot water button and turn the knob. Let the machine circulate water through. Once the ventilate message is gone you're done.

How to decalcify coffee machine Saeco royal digital

Hi
Your showing a different machine than a Royal and that one is different, but if yours is a Royal, this is how.

Auto descale: To automatically descale your machine, press the scoop or menu button and hold it down until you enter the menu. Use the arrow buttons to scroll up until you come to Descale. Press enter button and the machine will enter the mode to descale your machine. The process takes about 45 minutes. You don't have to do a thing except mix a full water tank with descaling solution and have a container under the steam wand when your start. If you have a cappuccinonatori on your machine you will need two containers. To start the descaling process, simply turn the steam knob. When the process is over your machine will say "Descale finished". Remove your water tank and rinse it out. Refill it with fresh water. Replace on the machine and start the descaling process over again to rinse your machine. Go back into your menu and scroll up or down 1 to signal descale and enter. Choose "Yes" and push enter so the machine will tell you when you need to descale again.
Manual descale: To decalcify your boiler, remove your water tank and fill it with hot water (100 to 120 degrees). Open a pack of decalcifier and mix into the water tank. Place the tank back on the machine, then turn the machine on.
  1. If you have a non-rapid steam machine, just open the steam knob and run approximately eight ounces of solution into a spare container. Turn the machine off and let set about 10 to 15 minutes. It is very important that the machine does not remain on to heat the boiler anymore than necessary.
  2. If you have a rapid steam machine, turn on the machine and then push the hot water button. This turns off the rapid steam and allows you to run hot water/solution through the steam wand. Just open the steam valve and run approximately eight ounces of solution into a spare container. Turn the machine off and let set about 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Repeat step #2 for your type of machine. Do this until you have used the entire water tank of solution (approximately four to five cycles). Remove the water tank and rinse it with fresh water.
  4. Refill the water tank with fresh water and place it back on the machine.
  5. Repeat step #2 to rinse the machine, only this time use the entire water tank at one time, and there is not need to let it set.
  6. Your machine has been decalcified. You may still have scale in your boiler, but not as much as you had before. To reset your descale light, hold down on the steam button for at least five seconds. You are ready to brew, once your boiler has heated up.
