I need an activation code for a western europe map

We don't have any access to thsese codes.

You can activate products by connecting the unit to a USB port of a computer. If The Tomtom Home application is installed on computer it will launch and update the unit. On page 1 of main Home menus there is an icon for activation.

To make things easy for you I am enclosing a screen capture from the HOME 2.7 application.

Activation code is on the box or inside the manual. If you cannot get your unique code you will need to pay for a new licence. Contact TomTom website or the download management to do this. Anyone elses code will not work

The activation code for the unit and map details supplied is

This code will only work on this unit.

Can you tell me . After you installed the Western Europe map , did you at any time activate it ? ie , did you have to enter an authorisation code ?

Visit tomtom.com and call TomTom Customer Service, it works faster than posting the question online. Had a similar problem, it got fixed quickly.

Im slightly confused???

what was it you need your product code for?
You brought new maps, that need a product code to install?

Now tomtom say you need to buy new maps to get a new product code?
