In some usages, the alphanumeric character set may include both upper and lower case letters, punctuation marks, and symbols (such as @, &, and *, for example). For languages other than English, alphanumeric characters include letter variations such as ? and ?.
The lion passant symbol, lion looking left with a front leg raised is the standard symbol for silver. It means silver content is 925/1000. Could the 12 be an M? Numbers here are not the norm. Letters are more common. M being the mark for Tiffany.
When you are on the letters virtual keyboard and want to enter a number or a symbol, tap on the box marked '123' or '123Sym'. That brings up the numbers+symbols virtual keyboard. After entering the number(s) or symbol(s), tap on the box marked 'ABC'. That will bring back the letters virtual keyboard.

To get capital letters, press O key and check the ABC at the top of your text area to see it change, when you have the caps continue texting. To get the symbols press 1 key continuously until you find desired symbol
