If it's a cab faby and it's the right side not freezing but getting cold, you have low refrigerant. if it's warm, you have a stuck solenoid, blocked capillary tube, or a bad torque micro switch. if it's a bunn ultra 2, you have a bad solenoid or the freezing button is not on freeze.

SOURCE: I have an Ultra 2 bunn slush machine. One hopper

make sure it's mixed properly. if there is toomuch water, it'll freeze solid. if the mix is too rich, ice will form on the outside of the bowls. you may also have a low refrigerant level.

Why does my ugolini slush machine over freeze only on one side?

check your mix. if it's too lean (not enough syrup base), it'll freeze too quickly. if the auger stops moving when it's freezing, you blew a gear and it won't know when to stop freezing. also if the torque spring on the right side of the motor (through the back) is broken or missing, same thing.

I have bunn slush ultra 2. 1 side freezes 1/2 way, like slushy a little bit but still watery, other side is only chill. both are set to 16 thickness.

make sure both say "ICE" on the display. press the snowflake buttons on the front to get it there. also, make sure you are mixing the product properly. if still an issue, you may have a small refrigeration leak that should be looked at by a professional

I have a 2 hopper bunn ultra 2, both sides are icing over on the outside

the mix is too rich. add some water to each side. it freezes based on torque, not temp.

In slush machines, how come the slush does not get completely frozen?

slush is made from sugar and water bonding together. the sugar is used as an antifreeze and then the mixture is constantly spun by the machine in order for it not to freeze.

The left side of the machine is freezing, but it's pushing all of the frozen product to the top of the lid and overflowing

each side should only have 2 to 2 1/2 gallons of mix. there is a line on the bowl that is the max fill line. as it starts to freeze, the auger pushes the product to the front and up. if it's too full, it'll over flow. just empty some out.

We were having trouble with one side not freezing so we replaced the shaft seals and replaced a board on the side that wasn't freezing. It now is saying Maintenance due Shaft Seal. is there still a problem...

You need to go through the menu and tell the machine that the maintenance is done, hold down the middle button to get to the menu, then follow on screen prompts and navigate to shaft seal maintenance.
