Modem profile not set

The modem profile problem is a hard one. The I/O board or the main board or even both may be damaged. Until the unit can be opened this damage can not be assessed. The cost of fixing this problem may be more than this unit is worth. I will be interested in helping you determine if you need to replace it. Frank @ 775-338-6634

Verifone Vx570 given an error Modem Profile Not Set?

error modem profile not set appears when your Verifone VX 570 modem profile is not properly loaded or has been errased due to Tamper error or Bad RTC. Reloading back the modem profile will sometimes fix the error, but there is also a chance that your I/O module (form where you connect the power and telephone wire) is also bad, thats needs to be repaired or replaced. All i can see is linksys and not the wireless name i set up. i have reset the modem and wireless router

I suppose you set-up the new name on the routers setup page. Does it save the new name when you changed the ssid? if it does, then try refreshing the list on your wireless computer. The linksys name that you may be seeing on the computer is a profile name. In that case, try deleting all profile and refresh the list again.

Could it be the screen saver when you said about Vertical lines.
I mean ,your computer was set to a certain period of time that if it stay idle, then the screen saver program will start to run.
