Problem with dishwasher

The machine starts OK, but then the programme no. 2 light flashes and the machine stops. This indicates that the filters need cleaning according to the trouble shooting guide. I have done this and there is no difference. Also sometimes the programme no. 1 flashes but not as often.
Any ideas as this has happened over a period of a week where it sometimes worked and sometimes did not.

Thanks for any help you can give

After water is in dishwasher, as it begins to clean it makes a loud grinding sound and it deposits a fine substance on dishes especially glasses and cups

Zanussi dishwasher ZDF601M 1 in 3 red light comes on and programme doesn't work through

26269906-aipk5px1bmfkdpsmrgevaqwn-3-0.jpg "3 in 1" function
This appliance is equipped with the "3 in 1" function, that
allows the use of the "3 in 1" combi detergent tablets.
This function can be selected with all washing programmes.
With the selection of this function the inflow of rinse aid and
salt from each respective supply container is automatically
deactivated and also the indicator lights for salt and rinse aid
are deactivated.
Select the "3 in 1" function before the set of a washing
programme.
Once this option is selected (indicator light illuminated) it will
remain active also for the following washing programmes.
With the use of the "3 in 1" function, the cycle durations may
change. In this case, in the digital display, the indication of the
running time of the programme is automatically updated.
NOTE: Once the programme is running, the "3 in 1" function
can NO longer be changed. If you want to exclude the "3 in 1"
function you have to cancel the programme setting (see
chapter "Starting a washing programme" - "Cancel a washing
programme in progress") and then deactivate the "3 in 1"
function.
In this case you have to set a washing programme (and
options) again.

Activation/deactivation of the "3 in 1" function
(The dishwasher must be switched off)

1. Press the On/Off button. The On/Off indicator light
illuminates (setting mode). If a programme button indicator light is on, this means that a washing programme is set. The programme must be cancelled: press simultaneously function buttons 2 and 3
for about 2 seconds. All the indicator lights will turn off (except for the On/Off indicator light and eventually salt and rinse aid indicator lights) indicating that the set programme has been cancelled and the machine is now in setting mode.

2. Press simultaneously function buttons 2 and 3, until the
indicator lights of function buttons 1, 2, 3 and 4 start
flashing.

3. Press function button 4, the indicator lights of function
buttons 1, 2 and 3 turn off while the indicator light of function
button 4 goes on flashing.

4. Press function button 4 again, the "3 in 1" indicator light
illuminates, indicating that the "3 in 1" function is active.
To deactivate the function press function button 4 again, the
indicator light turns off.

5. To memorise the operation, switch off the dishwasher by
pressing the On/Off button or wait about 60 seconds after
which the dishwasher will automatically return to setting
mode.

Zanussi zdt 6053 usually will not run full cycle (on any cycle) but stops with constant error beeps. But it is draining ok and sometimes goes full cycle (not often) Any ideas?

Could be anything!
If you suspect that there is a fault then it will be displayed by blinking LED "END OF CYCLE". As the display of failure in hexadecimal code it can flash up to max. 15 times than short pause and after that repeat fault code. You must to count the number of times the LED "END OF CYCLE" flash up.

Example from user manual: Anti-flood device is activated.
- continuous flashing of the indicator light of the running programme
- 3 intermittent audible signals
- 3 flashes of the END OF CYCLE indicator light
(which means "i30" fault code, the cycle is interrupted and the
drain pump switches on).
Possible causes:
Water leakage from the tub - sump and various connections
(pump, upper spray arm duct etc.); floating sensor blocked
mechanically; microswitch faulty; fill solenoid blocked
mechanically; circuit board faulty (solenoid triac short-circuited);
wiring faulty.
26226179-aipk5px1bmfkdpsmrgevaqwn-3-1.jpg Could be also:
To cancel a washing programme in progress:
- Open the dishwasher's door.
- Press the programme selection/cancel button for about 3 seconds,
until the indicator light of the running programme turns off and the
END OF CYCLE indicator light flashes, indicating that the running
programme has been cancelled and that the machine has
returned to setting mode. It is now possible to select another
washing programme. If a new washing programme will be
selected, check that there is detergent in the detergent dispenser.

NOTE: only during the drying phase, if the dishwasher's door will be opened and remains open for more then 30 seconds, the running programme will be automatically cancelled and the machine will return to setting mode. This will happen, always only during the drying phase, also when the machine is switched off by pressing the
On/Off button and remains switched off for more then 30 seconds.

When I start the normal 50 button, the top and middle lights blink three times. Then after few seconds the normal 50 and bottom lights start to blink

Start the wash programme
1. Check that when the dishes and cutlery are loaded in the dishwasher
the spray arms are free to rotate.
2. Open the water tap fully.
3. Shut the door.
4. Press the ON/OFF button. ON/OFF button indicator comes on.
5. Press the button for the programme required (see "Programme Table"). The programme indicator lights up. One or two lights will flash in the multi-display. During this time it is possible to reselect the programme. The selected washing programme begins after approx. 6 seconds. The current wash programme stage will always be shown in the multi-display.
3 If the top light and/or the middle light in the multi-display flash after
the programme has started please read the section "What to do, if...".

Can I turn the beeper off on the end of the washcycle on the DDY062 Hoover dishwasher. I want to put it on timer delay and dont want to be woken in the middle of the night.

These are the instructions taken directly from the DDY062 manual:
Alarm mute for the PROGRAMME END
The alarm for the programme end may be muted as follows:
IMPORTANT The dishwasher must be ALWAYS off before start this procedure.
1. Hold down the "PROGRAMME SELECTION" button and at the same time switch on the dishwasher by pressing the "ON/OFF" button (a brief audible signal will sound).
2. Keep the "PROGRAMME SELECTION" button pressed for at least 15 seconds (during this time, 2 audible signals will sound).
3. Release the button when the second audible signal sounds (3 "PROGRAMME SELECTION" indicator lights will come on).
4. Press the same button again: the 3 indicator lights (which indicate that the alarm is activated) will start flashing (to indicate that the alarm is off).
5. Turn off the dishwasher by pressing the "ON/OFF" button to confirm the new setting.
To turn the alarm on again, follow the same procedure.

I had the same problem. Indicator flashing. F7 displayed. Nothing seems to work.
The following worked for me:
Remove the filter on the floor of the machine, including the metal grill.
Press & hold the start button (like you do when you want to cancel a programme). this will drain the water out of your clogged up drain outlet. Clean your filter and grill and replace it.

My guess is that the sensor in the drain (a little glass tube) measures whether the water going out is clean enough to decide that your dishes are now rinsed correctly. If your filter's clogged, the water going down the drain is still dirty. After a while it gets sick of trying and stops the machine.
F7 in whirlpoolese may mean "Clean my filter now or you can wash your own bloody dishes"

Dishwasher problem

My dishwasher Indesit DI67S will not run on the number 1 cycle. It will fill and then when that programme finishes it jumps straight to the drying cycle missing all the rinses out etc. If on the number 2 programme it goes all the way through but then doesn't dry. I've also noticed that the water doesn't seem to be heating up much and certainly isn't drying. Is this the element or something else? Once its reached the drying cycle the light for this just flashes then I have a job to try and reset the machine. It can take endless attempts. Will switching the machine off at the mains solve anything or is it the element?
Thankyou
