have you tried a hard reset?

Todo a hard reset, First press and hold the power button, while holding the power button use the tip of the stylus to gently press and release the reset button. wait for the logo to appear then release the power button.

when you see the message that warns you about erasing all of the info on your hand held press up on the 5way navigator to finish the reset

As the previous responder said, the Tungsten E2 cannot read cards over 1 GB. However, there is a wonderful solution available at PalmPowerups.com called PowerSDHC. This wonderful little driver will enable the E2 to read cards of any size! At $20.95, it's a bargain. I installed it on my E2 and now I use an 8 GB SDHC chip!

My palm Tungsten E won't turn on or won't turn off. Power Key may be broken... any suggestions?

Press one of the 5 buttons at the bottom, if they work, then the power key is broken. There is a freeware prc (off-it) that will turn the Palm off.

My experience with off-it, if you use it, and you want to charge your PDA, you need to turn it on and let it turn itself off via the time-out or leave it on and charge with the screen on.

I cannot sync my Palm Tungsten E with MS Outlook.

Step 1 Install the Palm Tungsten software. This software is required in order to sync Palm Tungsten with Outlook Express. To install the software, place the CD-ROM in your PC and follow the on screen instructions.
Step 2 Use the HotSync cable included with your Palm to plug into the USB port of your PC. You will then plug the other end of the cable into your Palm Tungsten.
Step 3 Open the HotSync Manager program on your PC through the "Start" menu or clicking on the icon. You can manage the different programs available for synchronization through this program. Select Microsoft Outlook as one of the applications that you want synched onto your Palm Tungsten.
Step 4 Turn on the Palm Tungsten. You will see a star icon on the menu of your PDA. Tap this star with your stylus to start syncing Microsoft Outlook Express. A dialog box will appear on your PC during the process to know the progress of the synchronization.
Step 5 Unplug the cable from your PC and Palm Tungsten once the sync is completed. As the Palm resets, you will now notice that Microsoft Outlook Express is available on the PDA.

Tungsten E2 just stopped while adding data said fatal error

Well had to do a hard reset- lost everything, had no back up, long story don't think I'll bother with palm ever again!

Tungsten E2 has lit screen & not responding

You can take the back off and unplug the battery for a few mins, this sometimes will clear a logic lock

Tungsten E2 PDA battery

E2 has a great battery might not be it. Its not easyly replaceable like in some other models.

the battery can be replaced by a professional or by yourself.

The pda should work on charger? does it work while pluged in?
If it doesnt work while its pluged in theres something more seriour wrong with it.

You can try soft and hard reseting.

Instructions can be found in this pdf file http://www.palm.com/us/support/handbooks/tungstene2/en/maintain.pdf

If you cant open pdf files you need to find yourself pdf reader, google pdf reader and get one.

If soft or hardreset have any effect and the device still doesnt work even on charger then it has a hardware issue and I recommend contacting palm or the place where you bought the pda and findout about repairs and possible price, may be high.

Palm T3 frozen, tried restart in hole, nothing?

take the battery off for 15 seconds and put it back again. you need to reboot your Palm at least once a week. goodluck!!!
