To attach the sun visor to the cab roof it SHOULD be attached with 3 phillips head screws. IF you're talking the sun visor to the rod, it can be a challenge but can be done.
The following video may help. Cut to 4:12 for the sun visor portion.
Hope this helps.
unclip the sun visor from the "latch" side. Using a flathead pocket screwdriver gently pry the plastic shroud away around the hinge side. This will expose the bolts for the sun visor. Remove the weatherstripping partially from around the door if equipped with grab handles gently pry the covers off the hinges with pocket screwdriver and remove bolts (t30) partially remove cover from clip for sun visor and remove bolt (t20). Pull firmly directly out on a-pillar to unseat from pillar. Unscrew the three bolts from sun visor hinge side and gently unseat from wiring guide. Reaching above headliner gently guide wires for sun visor down through headliner and detach from harness.
I fabricated my own brackets for my 2004 Ford Explorer to mount (or should I say re-mount) my sun visors after they both crumbled and fell on us. I cut some thin metal (tin I think) and put 5 layers together to form the bracket. If there is any interest, I'll upload some pictures and instructions over the week-end to show how to install it. I'm thinking about offering to make these for $12+ shipping for one bracket or $20+shipping for a pair.
To put the Drivespeech into pairing mode - with power OFF, press the power on button until the Drivespeech powers on and CONTINUE to hold the button until it announces it is in pairing mode and the LED flashes alternate Red/Blue.
