You have to "close session" on the disk before it will play anywhere else but the camera. Same goes for a CD or DVD you make on your PC. It will play on your PC ok but not on any other player
take out the cd. close the tray with no disk in it. let it read till it says open tray
open and close it like 3 times with tha method mentioned above with out the disk. then put the disk back in and it will probly work.
sometimes the system turns dumb and u haft to remind it to reconize when there is actally no disk.

10, 11, and 12. To replace the drive it will have to be reflashed.
Sounds like your drive is in programing mode "hitachi" Hit the eject button 3 times(kinda fast) to get it to stay closed . If you didnt ever flash the drive then im not sure how it got stuck like this .. You may need to use the "slax disk" If its a 78, Or the flashing program to get it fixed . Check xboxscene for tutorials .
