Lost voicemail password

To reset the password on your Comdial 7260 00 voicemail, follow these steps:

1. Dial the voicemail extension from your phone.
2. When prompted, enter the default password. The default password is usually "0000" or "1234".
3. Follow the prompts to change your password. If you are not prompted to change your password, press "9" for the mailbox options menu, then "8" for the password menu.
4. Enter your new password when prompted. Make sure to choose a secure password that you can remember.
5. Confirm your new password when prompted.
6. Hang up the phone to save your changes.

unplugging the phone, remove all batteries, wait few minutes, replace the battery, plug in phone, go to setup. do not put a password/ or use a word on the phone label and high light with yellow or red pen/marker highlight word or words+numbers

4. 999997 # (this is the default password, but it might have been changed. contact your phone company for the password)

6. Follow the prompts. You will need the DN number for the phone. Also, select "Reset Security Code", not "Reset Mailbox". Resetting the mailbox will erase ALL data from the mailbox (voicemails, greetings, names, passwords).

Your voicemail password is a 4 digit number that you enter when you want to listen to your voicemail messages from any other phone other than your mobile phone - this is called remote access. This voicemail password gives you the protection to know that only you can listen to your voicemails.
It is vital that your password is set to a random 4 digit password. To change your password, all you need to do is:

1. Dial 173 from your mobile
2. You will then be asked to pick a 4 digit number, and then press the # button
3. If you are happy press press 2

Your password is all set up and you will be prompted to enter it whenever you want to listen to your voicemails through remote access.You will only need to use this password when accessing your voicemails from another phone. You will not need to use this password when accessing your voicemail from your own mobile phone - you simply dial 171 as normal

You can log into your "My Account" from the www.cingular.com
From the My Phone page, click Reset Voice Mail Password.
Choose a wireless number from the dropdown menu and select Submit.
A text message is sent to the wireless phone with the new password.

TVA and TVS systems have master passwords that the installer has. If you lost the password to 999, then your installer can probably come out and reset them. If you have lost the master password, Panasonic can restore that, but it's not easy.

If you happen to have the password for 998 and 999, you get there by pressing #6 *99x at the login. Put in your password and IIRC admin is option 5 or 6 in 999.

press feature 983 the screen should say log:
enter 1020000 (default password) if you have a 3 digit intercom number, 120000 if you have a 2 digit intercom number
the display should say mbox, AA, and othr above the three soft keys
press the mbox soft key
the screen should say add, del, and chng above the soft keys
press the chng soft key
enter in the mailbox number you wish to reset the password on
press ok
the screen should say reset and next above the soft keys
press the reset soft key
press the Rls key
your password should be reset to 0000

To reset password on any tel set go to main set and press feature 983 this gets you in to programming you need a password and default password is normly
120000 for 2 digit locals and 1020000 for 3 digit locals etc.enter this password and press ok go in to
mbox type in mailbox press change , press reset password. hope this works

If you have an in-house administrator, they can log in and reset it. You might try 0000 and 1234 just in case, otherwise you will have to call whatever tech help you have and get them to reset it.
