Since yesterday evening I can't log in PSN or get disconnected with errors 8002ED6 and 80710092 from PSN or can't find players/games online. I used PSN for at least a year with wired connection with the same ISP and settings and I've never had issues like this. Sometimes I'm able to connect to PSN and even join online games, but when I'm trying to go to the Store I'm disconnected with error 8002ED6. Or for example when I tryed to play Tekken Revolution the game stuck at Liscence check. It just couldn't go further. Also I had two freezes at Trophies Check. Never had any of these before. I tried rebooting my router many times, direct connection without router, as well as using Google DNS servers - no result. I have no problems with the Internet. The browser works fine. It was more than 500 reports on downdetector.com today. But I don't see any activity from Sony. What can I do?
Possible change in their Terms Of Service...see this: https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4093/kw/80028ED6 Try logging in online again then try again on the Playstation after accepting the new terms. Good luck!
Testimonial: "Accepting new terms didn't help. I tried rebooting my router many times, direct connection without router, as well as using Google DNS servers - no result. I guees it's an issue on Sony's side and all that's left is waiting. Thanks for your help anyways."
You could also try rebooting your home modem/router/gateway.
OK...more to try...for the 80710092 Error: /ERROR 80710092 -ISSUE CONNECTING ONLINE -Cannot connect to the interent or PlayStation Network. This may be caused by scheduled maintenance or issues with your internet connection -TO FIX 1. Turn off your PS3, your router, your modem, etc. 2. Let everything stand turned for at least one minute. 3. Turn on you router/modem and wait for full power up (i.e. All lights lit) 4. Turn on your PS3 and try to access PSN -IF PROBLEMS PERSIST 1. Go to Settings>Network Settings>Internet Connection Test https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=...
For the 8002ED6 error, which seems to be an internet connection issue... (1) may indicate that PSN is having network issues (can you get a hold of Sony for that?) (2) disable Media Server and disable Auto Sign-in (Network > Settings) (3) try using a network cable/wired instead of wireless (if that applies in your situation - you could have interference with another item in your home, like a cordless phone, which you could change on your home's router, if you knew how)) (4) try changing your Primary DNS to: 208.67.222.222 and Secondary DNS to: 208.67.220.220
Thanks, I greatly appreciate your help.

SOURCE: PS3 keeps losing internet connection
Have your ISP check the refresh on there end (Suddenlink had mine set a 4 minutes instead of 24 hours)
SOURCE: dns error 80710102
try mving your ps3 around into verous places around the room and try to find an internet connecion. you can go to settings, network settings, then settings and connection status list and it will show you how much internet you have.
SOURCE: PS3 says DNS error (80710102) when i try to connect to the internet with a wired connection
Goto the command prompt bar in the start menu type ' cmd ' then click o.k . A black dos screen will appear type in ' ipconfig/all ' and it will the the two servers you need under dns servers but if your doing a wired connection to your ps3 then you need to manually configure your dns on the custom method of setting up your internet connection on your ps3 as if this is auto config that will give you a dns error. Hope that helps ,I can go into more detail and guide you through it if need to .

Hi,
There is a widespread issue occurring right across the board at this very moment with the PSN Network. Some consoles are not synchronising properly due to an internal clock error and causing problems exactly like you describe.
It is expected that Sony will soon have this resolved - within 24 hours they are saying maximum..
For a full breakdown please look at this FixYa Tip.
If the solution helps, please leave a vote for it. Thanks.
