When I press a key I get unexpected characters (sometimes multiple characters) that have no relationship to the key I actually pressed.
This is for a Logitech MX3200 wireless keyboard & mouse. The mouse works fine. Both the keyboard and mouse are connecting, but the keyboard is printing garbage. When I switch back to my old, usb keyboard it works fine.
Yes, I have a solution. Throw the bugger away! This has been the biggest piece of garbage I have ever bought. It has loads of unecessary features like using the buttons for other things. I am sick of it asking me if I want to assign an action to a key. I want a bog standard wireless keyboard. Yes, I'll assign an action alright. I'll throw it through the bloody window!!!!!!
Try this:
Remove the batteries from the keyboard and type anything randomly on the keyboard to discharge the capacitors (for about 20 secs). Now replace the batteries (fresh ones preferably), and re-connect the KB to your system.
If that does not help, try reinstalling the software.
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers!
