Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console

Doesnt even load the home screen

My ps3 doesnt even make it do the home screen and ive only had it for a year...any help at all wud be helpful

There could be 2 reasons.......first the fan might not be working and you need to buy a new one or fix what you allready have.
second it might bew dirty from the back take a swiper an clean it for 30 sec one of those will work 100%

The green light on my ps3 works but my blue 1 doesnt show up

I had kinda the same problem, but my ps3 was able to get to the home screen. I never tried the problem out on a ps2 game, but when I put anything BlueRay into the system, I would also get that blank, blue AV screen. Because I was able to access my home screen, I looked around and found that I had corrupted data on my system. Now, I'm not sure how to get you back to your home screen, but if you're ever able to, the only solution that I found was to wipe the hard drive of the corrupted data, by going to the Game option on the home screen, then scrolling down to either Game Data Utility or Saved Data Utility. That's where you'll find it. Unfortunately, this will mean you'll have to wipe your entire hard drive of all your saved data.

I know it sucks, but I hope this helps...

Fifa09 wont load

my m8 had the same problem with 08
i wud try downloading a patch
go to easports and ask for th patch neded they shud give u one
if this doesnt work then i dont know m8

2 buy at store not from trunk

Powers on, Controller wont connect, nothing shows up

switch the hard switch off in the back of the ps3. unplug power cord... press and hold power button located on the front f the ps3 for approx 10 secs, then let it sit for a few, then hook it back up and turn the hard switch back on and try to power it back up.

I have had this happen once before but it did return to normal.

Hi please help me

if its under a year old phone sony and ask them to replace it on warranty, just make sure you back up your data. Ive had this problem 3 times and each time they replaced it free of charge, hope this helps

My playstation 3 wont work

PS3 have been having trouble with most PS3 with 40 gb drive

you have a ONE YEAR WARANTEE, from date of purchase.

I suggest you call sony and request a shipping box to send back your PS3.

If heard alot of people having this trouble.
