SOURCE: USB mouse not recognized
I have similar problem. 2 inland KVM's (both have PS2 inputs, one has USB outputs) do not light or recognize my usb mouse with a PS2 adapter. They do recognize a PS2 ball mouse on the KVM's however. One of the computers (Sony vaio 1.5 GHz) does recognize a usb mouse with adapter on 2 other KVM's (Old Belkin and a Trendnet) (the second computer I have not tried in those configurations). Next I will try an optical mouse with a PS2 fitting. That did work with a fifth KVM at an auto business last week.

Sounds like KVM has a bug. Maybe their website has a fix.
SOURCE: kvm switch is not detecting
this is not uncommon. many kvm switches cannot work with those types of wireless mice. the reason for this is due to connection codes. these mice require a connection to secure the use with each computer. you can attempt to do this with your setpoint software. located in C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPointP you will find the program CONNECT.EXE
run this to redo your mouse connection. i will however inform you that even if this works there is a large chance that upon switching to the next pc the mouse wont work and you will need to repeat this process with each pc switch everytime you toggle pcs.
rule of thumb. if the mouse is wireless don't use it with a kvm.
