Sony trv27e usb data transfer. I would like to transfer the data on he miniDV to my laptop using a USB cable. Sony camera driver is installed and working properly, but I dont see the camera anywhere on the laptop. If I open windows explorer I dont see the camera and therefore the files either. How can I actually start the transfer?

the sony site lets u download the driver but you have to have the serial number off of the picture ackage cd which i dont have...you also need the serial number from the bottom label of your camera and camera name code ex. dcrtvr260

Only load the driver and install in XP compatability mode then use another video capture programme Sony does not support Vista for you cam.
