Do some gave the instruction manual for the Kelvinator FD830 Freezer. I am not sure how to set the temp on it?

Locate the Temperature Control Knob: The temperature control knob is typically located inside the freezer compartment. It allows you to adjust the temperature settings.

Understanding the Knob:
For Top Mount â„¢ Models: The temperature control knob is usually located in the refrigerator section. At higher altitudes (e.g., 1000 meters above sea level), set the refrigerator temperature control to one-half setting warmer than MID.

For Bottom Mount (BM) Models: Adjust the refrigerator temperature using the bottom knob.
Setting the Temperature:
Turn the knob clockwise (usually towards the "colder" side) to lower the temperature.
Turn the knob counterclockwise (towards the "warmer" side) to raise the temperature.

Adjusting the fridge compartment temperature may cause a small change in the freezer temperature.
Remember to allow some clearance around the freezer for proper ventilation.
