Per owners manual... WATER PUMP OIL IMPORTANT: If oil is white or foaming, water is in the oil reservoir. Change oil.NOTE: Water in oil occurs as a result of spray or condensation. Milky oil is not indicative of a pump malfunction.
Milky appearance in oil is due to water mixing with the lubricant. An internal seal has failed. Have your pressure washer checked by a small-engine mechanic immediately.
3 ways of loosing the coolant/water search for leak -hole in radiator, hoses at connections or damaged, water pump, heater core and hoses //blown head gasket coolant being burnt will show white smoke out tail pipe ,oil will show milky cocoa color ---//transmission oil cooler lines have internal damage in radiator and transmission has fluid draining
Do fans come on , if not it is the $8 dollar temp sensor or the fan fuse or the fan motor.
If you have heat from the heater and if radiator gets hot then it is neither the raditor or the water pump nor the thermostat as neither heater or radiator would get hot
because no water would be moving in the system.
So
Water in oil makes the oil go grey / milky or white . Check the cooling system by a pressure test and if it is holding then it will not be water in the oil.. If you are referring to transmission oil then the tan colour indicates burnt oil, and must be replaced. Water in that oil will also be a white cherry/ milky colour.
What color smoke? black = fuel blue = oil white = water. oil is not always milky with head problem if thats what you are getting at. Does it start rough (misfireing) then clear up?
milky sump oil is coolant in the sump
could be head gasket
could be the aluminium housing behind the water pump has corroded and leaking water into the sump
that will account for you thinking that you need anew radiator
blown head gasket, check oil for water in oil, gray milky look, check antifreeze in radiator for color, check exhaust for white smoke or water-coolant if its going out exhaust gasket blown inbetween cylinders, see if pushing antifreeze out of radiator etc.check radiator for leaks pressure test it,cap on radiator bad?
it may have a slow water leak inside the pump.
change oil and monitor the new oil.
if it goes milky the next time you use it then it has a bad leak and the seals will need to be
replaced, otherwise the bearings will rust & seize
