Why will my samsung yp-z3 not switch on?

I can not connect my Problem with the Samsung YP-U3 MP3 Player

1. You need to have Windows Media Player 10 or Higher.

not connecting to pc

Visit the Australian part of the Samsung website (http://www.samsung.com) and go to the download centre. Select the option to download the firmware for the Samsung YP-U2. It will be version V2.211.
The download will be a zipped folder. Unzip the folder on your PC and run the setup program. This will install the Samsung YP-U2 software on your PC. Connect the player directly to a USB port on your PC and start the YP-U2 program. Use a paper clip to press the reset button on the YP-U2 whilst at the same time pressing the PLAY button. Hold the reset and play button like this for ten seconds. Once your PC picks up the player it should automatically download the drivers. Release the reset button and follow the instructions on your PC screen to install the firmware. The process will delete all the files currently on your MP3 player but at least you will be able to get it working again. If you fail to get the download at the Samsung website, send an email to [email protected] and I will send you the zipped folder (almost 5MB).

your player iz need to a current updater progrrame by picking the firmware version of samsung site...and install to pc after then connect he player in usb dvice and re install the firmware....

YP u2 J is only audio player? Can it be used to store pictures from pc and tranfer them to digital picture frame?

is battery dead or charged, when connected to a pc what comes on screen? Is it the connecting to pc part that is not happening. problem tooo vague. if it connects but still doesnt switch on then unit faulty.

Faulty unit, contact manufacture. possible firware update needed. You could try this your selve but would need the unit to switch on when connected to pc

Will not always switch on and when it does switch on will not respond to control panel
