Whenever you have a problem with a website always try a different browser first. To get a copy of Firefox or Google Chrom installed for you go to www.ninite.com and check off fireox and google chrom then click INSTALL at the bottom and after it installs login to the website with one of the new browsers and see if it works. Most of the time it does. If you need any more help let me or someone here know and will do the best we can to help you.
Does the mouse work everywhere else and just not chrome???
Go to your control panel in Windows and remove any software that came with the mouse. Then restart your computer. Don't worry, Windows has its own software to make the mouse work.
Firstly ensure you have removed the application from add/remove programs.. Once uninstalled
Open Chrome
Select the little spanner on the top right of your browser
Select 'Options'
On the 'Basics' tab you will see the search section - it will be set to facemoods
Select 'Manage'
Under 'Default Search Options' you will see facemoods - select remove
from the right hand menu. I did this for all the other search engines
apart from google
Press CTRL ALT & DELat the same time. It opens Task Manager. > Choose Processes It might show that you got many Chromes running simultaneously. Click the one CHROME that is running (it usually has to do with something of a Flash program) on highest in CPU usage, then >> END PROGRESS. If that happens to close your Chrome there's no harm done as you can just re-install them by clicking it again. BUT normally it kills SHOCK WAVE FLASH thats has ridiculed people for almost ten years... Well, it kills your Flash loads but revises your computer speed. You can simply just put these other windows' reloading after the procedure.
this is a common windows error. if a certain application stops working like your google chrome. try to edit start up items, click on start, click run, on the run box type : msconfig. click ok. on the start up tab, click on disable all on the bottom right, hit apply or ok. it will give you a prompt to exit with restart. this is for xp, if its vista more likely the same but after restarting the computer, no prompt for system configuration utility will pop up. to unisntall the google chrom, if its xp go to add remove programs and click remvoe, if you have vista, go to program and features and uninstall it from there, if no go. use the microsoft installer clean up utility. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 just download and install it then look for it under programs and it will gie you all the programs installed on your computer, you can look for google chrome and uninstall it. that should work.
