My Cisco SPA502G does not ring for incoming calls

The phone behaves, as if it was falling asleep: it does not ring for incoming calls, but when I wake it up, such as by calling somewhere, it begins to behave normally and ring. However after a time of inactivity it falls asleep again and does not ring any more, until woken up. It's definitely not a DND issue. I suspected a misconfiguration, but mangling any obvious configuration options did not help. I even tried a factory reset and configured the device from scratch, but it did not help either. Looking forward to receiving any hints. Thank you very much for your help.

It is a problem with the router. if you assign it a public ip adress it will stay on line the other option is a router that will allow consistent nat translation

Is the phones registered to CallManager or CME?
if CM, then it could be because of partitions and Calling Search Spaces. PTs are placed on the line and are restricted by CSSes. http://cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/4_1_3/ccmsys/a03ptcss.html#wp1020642

If it is CME, then it could be a configuration issue

SOURCE: Cisco ip phone 7940 does not ring for incoming calls.

It sounds like you have enabled Do No Disturb accidently. This can be turned on and off by pressing the DND softkey button along the bottom of the LCD display. You might need to press the 'more' softkey to display all options.

An incoming call comes up on the screen but does not ring. The phone is being used in conjunction with a Cisco ATA (converting analogue to digital) for IP Telephony.

It sounds like everything is working on the SPA122 side. I would look at the Uniden phone first. Have you tested this phone on a regular phone line to see if it rings? Does the phone have a Do Not Disturb function?

How do I answer an incoming call on the BLU dash jr

I wasn't able to find much online, but without seeing what the screen looks like upon receiving a call, I would imagine like most Androids, that you press and hold the green phone icon and slide it.

How to recovery from boot loop?

Are you familiar with wireshark or other packet sniffers? You might consider running wireshark on the network to see exactly what the phone is doing when it boots. It might be configured to connect to a TFTP server or something on boot, to look for a firmware or config file update.

New tundra does not ring until the 5th ring from the phone you are calling from

This is a common Problem Looks like 100's even 1000's of these phone may be affected. It is Software version 7ER SW. I am on my 3rd tundra, and it still wont ring. Onces the phone "falls asleep" and wont wake up! Check out the Motorola Web Site support forums
https://supportforums.motorola.com/message/57411

Take the phone back, it needs to be Re-flashed. Not sure if they have the fix yet or not, but went to my ATT store, and we trid several phones RIGHT OFF THE SHELF, and every one did the same thing, no matter who's sim card was used.

Detecting calls onm Cisco 7961

If the CS70 has a lifter attached to the cisco phone then it should be able to detect an incoming call by beeping in your ear.  If there is no lifter, it won't beep in your ear, but you will still be able to answer.
