I had the exact same problem. I got around it by taking out the hub I was plugged into and jacking straight into the back of the box. Picked the device up right away when doing all the preceeding stuff had no effect.

It's always layer 1.

At first my vista pc would not recognise my psp but i overcame this with the basics. check that psp is recognising the memo stick in the psp (It will say "memory stick" and the free space if it is recognising the memo stick.) then go into usb mode and connect your psp to the pc with a cable. It should recognise the psp now and then you can put music, vids, etc onto the psp (memo stick)
I hope this helps you connect your psp.
PS if this does not work then try agin with the psp on charge.

Hello , ok firstly plug your usb connectoin into both ends of your computer.

Next go on your psp , go to settings and go up to USB Connection and click x ( this will make psp send a message to your computer that it is ready to communicate basically)

Now the only way to place stuff from your computer to your psp is by having a memory stick for the psp without a memory stick you cant do this.

I have vista and vista automatically installs the drivers when i press x in the USB Connection.

Go into add or remove programs , see if the download is there.if not Google it for a driver and download it and try to connect. If it shows up in add or remove delete it and reconnect the psp to see if vista will recognize it.

I was trying to create the Recovery Management disk but everytime I try to burn the CD it keeps ejecting. I would really like it if you could provide some help. I recently bought this E-Machine computer...

Welcome to Fixya

Please see procedure below on how to create recovery disk. Let me know if smae thing will happen.

  • 1

Click the "Start" icon on the Windows Vista home screen. Select "eMachines," then click "eMachines Recovery Management." The eMachines Recovery Management program opens.

  • 2

Click "Create Factory Default Disc." The program will tell you how many discs you will need. Make sure the correct optical drive is selected, then insert a blank disc into that drive. Click "Start" to begin the burning process.

  • 3

Remove the disc when it is finished burning and label it "Recovery CD 1." Insert the next the next blank disc if one is required. Click "OK" to begin burning the next disc. Repeat this step until all of the discs have been created and labeled. Close the eMachines Recovery Management program, insert the system CD that came with the laptop and restart the laptop.

  • 4

Press "F12" repeatedly when the eMachines logo is displayed on the screen to be redirected to the Boot menu. Select the optical drive, then press "Enter."

  • 5

Insert Recovery CD 1 when you are prompted to insert the recovery disc. The eMachines Recovery Management program will open.

  • 6

Click the "Restore" tab in the list on the left side of the eMachines Recovery Management program window, then select "Completely Restore System to Factory Defaults." The computer automatically restarts and the recovery process begins. Insert any additional recovery discs as requested. The computer will reboot automatically when the laptop has been recovered to its original factory default settings, and you will be taken to the Windows Setup screen.

I m looking for recovery cd of my notebook TX 1301.

HP TX1301 - you should have got one with your computer or at least a utility on your computer which creates recovery discs using your own blank discs.

See this for Windows XP http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&docname=bph08097

    Windows Vista
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=&product=81351&docname=c00810334

If you are running Vista and you cant boot your computer , insert the vista installation disc into the drive , start the computer off the install disc , click repair my computer when you get the "Install Now" option to access vistas recovery tools from the disc
