You need to create an IPSec tunnel between the router and windows server 2003 (run secpol.msc). From the dlink router, you need to set the IP address of the VoIP gateway as part of the LAN that is included on the VPN tunnel. Since it is the server 2003 that has a static IP, you need to initiate the connection from the Dlink router.

How connect cisco 5015 vpn with barracuda linkbalancer 330

Your Internet gateway <--- primary router

Port #1 on primary router <---> VPN server
Port #2 on primary router <--> Load Balancer
Load Balancer <--> web-server #1
Load Balancer <--> web-server #2
Load Balancer <--> web-server #3

VPN traffic enters your network, through the router to the VPN server, and then VPN-server back through the router to your internal servers. Web-traffic goes through the Load Balancer, for distribution to the collection of servers.

HI. I have problem with dlink router di-lb604 i can not configure VPN on this router. I want to configure VPN by site to site on di-lb604 with ddns

Go to the router site by using 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.0 or 192.168.1.1 password is admin and leave the rest blank. Unless you have already set a password. You can configure your router settings there. Thanks for using FixYa! John

Using DI-804hv, I can connected to vpn but not to LAN

First set up an static IP address on your computer with a range 192.168.3.x, once you connect to the DI go to >> LAN Settings and change there the DI IP to be in your range of 192.168.2.x.

If you use win XP here is a link how to set up a static IP with your computer:

DLink DI-624s - can't get Cisco VPN Client to connect.

The "Virtual Server" setting is designed to give the general public access to a network resrouce (web/ftp/media server) on your internal network. If your the VPN concentrator is external to your network (meaning you'll have to use the internet to connect to it), then you won't need to define a virtual server on the DI-624.

You'll just need to enable the IPSEC and PPTP VPN Passthrough which it sounds like you've already done this. I've run into some ISP's that block VPN connections out of their network. If you have the ability, try to directly connect your laptop into your cable/DSL modem in place of your router and see if you can make a VPN connection, if not contact your ISP, if you can then verify you enabled the VPN passthroughs because your router is blocking them.

GIve it a shot and let us know your results.

Nortel 1050 & BSR222 VPN Connection

If you want to have a dynamic IP at the remote site you can forget about it, I placed a support call to Nortel and they told me that even if the NAT traversal option is there in the BSR222 they do not support it!!!
I was able to use a bsr222 with a static ip accepting connection from linksys using dynamic, this works.
see some example doc at www.chbr.info/linksys_bsr222.zip

Ftp server

There should be an option in your touer for having "Static" IP address assigned. Currently, your couter is set for "Dynamic" IP's. I'm not too familiar with this router, but if you go to their support site, they should have some info on how to do this.
