Ok, plug the mp3 into your computer, click on my computer, then where it says removable devices you should see your mp3 listed, double click it. browse the folders listed until you find the songs that you want to delete , when you find one you want gone RIGHT click it then click delete/ It should then remove the song from your mp3 and put it into your recycling bin.

when you plug it to usb cord and the computer then you can "reformat" that is the only way to remove music...you need a computer, don't use Vista it is not compatible with anything yet...
use windows xp and when you plug in your mp3 player m250 it will ask you which program to choose from to open your files on the mp3 disk...its easy...

SanDisk Sansa m250 MP#

Try doing a hard reset on a Sansa m250:
  1. Turn off the Sansa. Just pull the battery out for a second and then reinstalling the battery without pushing any further buttons.
  2. Plug the Sansa into a computer4.gif, and open "My Documents" in the computer.
  3. Open the Sansa file as if it were a drive, then go to the "MUSIC4.gif Specific storage" file.
  4. Right click the "MUSIC Specific storage" file, and press "Format."
This should hard reset the Sansa m250. This solution has worked for me.
I do not know if this will work on other Sansa m200 type .mp3 players.

SANSA M250

Sounds like there may be some music corruption left on the player.

You should FORMAT the device thry My Computer>Device Name (m230)>Right click and select FORMAT.

This will delete all information and you can start over.

Best of Luck.

Can not remove files from sansa

Windows Media Player is a little temperamental when it comes to music on the device.

You can manually manage the music from My Computer>Device Name (m250)>MUSIC Folder.

You can drag & drop files onto the device from here, as well as, right click and delete them.

Best of Luck.
