TH-46PZ85U reset codes - Panasonic Viera TH-46PZ85U Plasma TV

Contact the authorized service center for Panasonic. Please do not make any experiments. The fault is simple now; do not make it irreparable. Surely you can't repair this fault.

I don't know what to do with 10 blinking of my Panasonic TH-46PZ85U.
I bought It in summer 2008...is it already kaput ? I'm not sure any more to want to make repair my tv set. I wonder how much could it cost ? Bye-bye plazma.

This is the error code, indicating a failure inside the board. Might need attention by a qualified service technician.

at plug in only is there a light blinking and if so how many Blinks? and if not hit the power button and do the same. look for the number of blinks. there are many things that could be wrong for the same code.

Could be a cooling fan failure, there are five fans across the back of this tv ( i think) if even 1 fails the power supply shuts down. If so fan needs replacing,

hi; the blinking light code means that you have a fault in the power supply unit, unplug the tv from the power source, check all transistors you will find some of there shorted, just replace them; if you need a help about repairing i'll help you

The power supply board it dead.That the board,where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Yes,this codes is a 100% correct is ur power supply board.U searches all around the power supply board and it supporting boards for those leakages gases capacitors?These capacitors alway have bulges on it top or puff on it top.Replaced these bad capacitors,u will get ur power voltages stable and ur power supply board will work.Not,than one or more of ur power transformers have a shorted power pins legs.The power transformers,coil is dead.The transformer must be replaced.

See if leaving it unplugged overnight would reset it and solve the issue. If it does not you may have leaking capacitors on its power supply circuit or burnt parts or solders that may have gone loose.

If it was a setting on the television, then the cable info would also be affected. Try a reset on your cable box, as the cable info is generated within the box from the data stream, whereas the picture is streamed from the provider.

If the reset doesn't work, it's time to call the cable company - it's not a fault with your telly.
