Nc6000 multibay battery does not recharge

Perhaps remove the multi-bay battery, and let main battery charge all the way. Then reattach multi-bay battery, and see if it's recognized.
(Will charge)

That is AC adapter (Charger) removed, then remove multi-bay battery.
Plug AC adapter back into laptop, THEN plug AC adapter into power.

[You do Not want to unplug an AC adapter from a laptop, with the AC adapter plugged into power. Could be a power surge/voltage spike. Unplug AC adapter from power, when plugging into laptop, or unplugging from laptop ]

Main battery charged, unplug power to AC adapter, unplug AC adapter from laptop. Plug multi-bay battery in, then AC adapter.
(Then plug AC adapter into power)

When a compaq armada m700 laptop is showing non-system disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready

this usually happens when the computer is trying to boot from a disk that isn't a valid boot disk.

if you have a floppy drive plugged into the multibay and a floppy in the drive, try removing the floppy.
if there is no floppy involved, try to boot from your system recovery disks, as it's likely that the boot record on the hard drive will need repaired. your system recovery disks should walk you through the process.

On pressing power switch on the multibay light indicator is on and it does not boot.

Try unplugging the power. Disconnect the battery. Count to 10. Replace battery. Reconnect power. Turn on.

Non-system disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready.compaq 6220.I tried everything

Hello,

This situation usually happens when your system Bios is set to boot first to a drive or media that doesn't exist. For example, the boot options in BIOS has your Multibay CD drive as first option and there is no disk or no bootable disk. So your computer tries to boot into it and doesn't find it. Anyway, the solution is to press F10 as soon as the notebook is turned on. That takes it to BIOS. Go to the last option on the right that says Advanced, select Boot Options, enable the Multiboot option and select the devices that you want to boot in order. For example, set your harddrive to boot first and multibay to boot second using the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard. Thats how it's on my Compaq EVo N610C starting with pressing F10 to go BIOS and thereafter. Even if the menus are different, Just look for those options. I did the same on my notebook and it works
