Why is my dryer beeping and showing E60?

My dryer started to make a funny noise this week and now it is beeping and showing E60 in the display, what does this mean?

The last alarm code memorized can be displayed even if the appliance is in normal operating mode (e.g. while the drying programme is being performed): - Press (start/pause) and first option button simultaneously for at least 5 seconds: the display shows the last alarm.The alarm sequence continues to flash as long as the two buttons are held down.
The appliance continues the cycle while the alarm codes are being displayed. If the appliance is in programme selection mode, the options previously selected are stored in memory.

E60 is family fault code but after reading last alarm you will see exactly fault code (E61; E62; E63)

E61 - Insufficient heating (maximum time exceeded)

Heater unit faulty
Wiring faulty
NTC sensor incorrectly calibrated/out of position
Electronic board faulty

E62 - Power reley to heater unit faulty

Heater unit faulty
Wiring faulty
Electronic board faulty

E63 - Intervention of auto-reset thermostat on the heater unit

Thermostat faulty (replace heater unit)
Heater unit faulty
Wiring faulty
Electronic board faulty

I have a Kenmore Compact Condensing Dryer, Model number: 417.81942710. I am getting an error code E60. I have looked up this error code and can't find anything about it. What is it?

The 417 prefix means that the dryer was manufactured by Frigidaire. Frigidaire dryers use E60 to indicate the control board thinks that there is a stuck button on the control panel. Press each button separately and see if any seem to be stuck in one position. Replace any stuck buttons. If the buttons are fine, than you have a wiring issue between the control board and the control panel or the control board is faulty. What does E60 mean on a frigidaire dyer

I see that your Frigidaire dryer is displaying an "E60" error code. I am showing that an "E60" error code is not a valid code. I would recommend performing a reset on your dryer and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. Hi I have an Electrolux dryer which has started showing the error message e60, when i hold the start button and the one next to ity I get error e62 showing can you help?

the "E60" error code will appear when there is an error with the door switch and sensor, An unbalanced door will produce the E60 code. Try to close the door gently and listen for the click. If the error remains, the door switch may need to be replaced.

the "E62" error code will appear when the lint filter and tubing need to be cleaned or replaced. The dryer will start and run for 15 seconds before shutting off. It will restart when prompted and run for another 15-20 seconds before shutting off. These steps must be repeated until the dryer continues to run the full cycle. Tim
